: Priscilla was called by her sister due to missing a memorial service at her parent's place. At the service, she removed her jacket revealing bruises left by her husband Thiago. Her parents are infuriated and they demanded a divorce. - "My family was talking sh*t about me behind my back, so I left them": Kaitlin was constantly abused by her husband, her son, and her mother-in-law for not being a good enough housewife and therefore hating her for being a working woman. Later on, Kaitlin snooped on her son's computer and found out the three of them conspired to murder her and take the insurance money for themselves.
- "My sister hanged herself": Daisuke was a domineering bastard who beat his wife, who was Yuriko's sister, and then apologized to her while promising it won't happen. This vicious cycle almost caused her to take her own life, as she was tired of his abuse. Yuriko's sister revealed he was teaching in a troublesome middle school and took it out on her, but after Daisuke gets caught, his parents revealed he was like this since childhood.

When she tried to escape, she got caught and locked in her room and got her kids taken away from her to keep her from running away.

- "My husband cheated on my while I was pregnant so I tried to divorce him but...": Sienna's husband squandered the money she saved up for her upcoming baby on drinking and cheating, even beating her up whenever she protested his abuse, which caused her to file a divorce. However, the abusive ex-husband was still confident that she would eventually come back to him someday.
- "My abusive husband hits me, and I finally snap": The OP's husband verbally and financially abused her, not even letting her communicate with other people or do anything that could harm his reputation. Moreover, he told her mother lies about her to isolate her even further. Eventually, she couldn't take it anymore and chewed him out for all of it only to be punched in retaliation.

After this revelation, she resolves to make the mother-son duo pay.
- "I got a creepy message from my teacher, so I forwarded it to the group chat, and…": Katie's mom was verbally and physically abused by her husband and didn't do anything about it because earlier on, he threatened to go after Katie if she reported him to the police. However, one of her coworkers noticed her scars and called the cops on the bastard. Thus Katie's mom took advantage of the situation and divorced him. However, Katie was so distraught she decided to become a lawyer to bring people like her father to justice.
- "My husband stomped on my glasses and stranded me in the parking lot...": Shawn was intially a loving husband, but stress from work started to get to him over time and he started to physically take it out on the MC. Eventually when she was left at the parking lot by Shawn and his mother, her son called the police and she divorced him soon after.
