Derry Girls: Season 2, Episode 2 is a Deconstructive Parody to "inspirational teacher" movies like Dead Poets Society, as it's demonstrated that the qualities that make someone a Cool Teacher don't necessarily make them a good teacher. Ms De Brún inviting the gang around to her house for wine is rightly called out as inappropriate. Her laidback attitude comes across as a Blithe Spirit, until it's ultimately revealed to be because she's just an Apathetic Teacher, which is why she ends up quitting for a better job rather than being forced out by Obstructive Bureaucrats as would be expected in such a film.
How I Met Your Mother: In "Robin 101", when Ted gives up on teaching Barney about Robin, Barney stands on his desk and calls out "O Captain, My Captain" to him.
The Lunchroom: Mr. Parker resents Stacy for trying to turn him into some sort of "Dead Poets Society like teacher".
Bob's Burgers: The scene in "Bob and Deliver", where the students stand on their desk and rip open bags of microwave popcorn, mimics both the beginning (where the students rip a chapter out of their textbooks) and the end (where the students salute the departing teacher by standing on their desks) of Dead Poets Society.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: In "Marks for Effort", the pony students in Spike's class have their hooves on the desks, saying "O Dragon, my Dragon".
