"A Boxful of Snout": While helping Mr. E wrap boxes, the wombats lose Snout.
"A Boxful of Snout" contains the following tropes:
- Injured Limb Episode: Mr. E sprains his arm, so he can't wrap all of the boxes for the big sale. As a result, he recruits the wombats to help out.
- Iris Out: The episode ends with an iris out on Zeke and Snout.
- Irony: Mr. E tells the wombats that accidents can happen anywhere, so they should always be careful. Immediately after, he slips on a globe and crashes onto a bagpipe, injuring himself.
- The Nose Knows: Towards the end of the episode, Zeke is able to find the box Snout is in just by smelling it.
- Oh, Crap!: Zeke panics when he realizes that Snout was accidentally put inside one of the wrapped gifts.
"Postcard From Snout": Zeke lets Mr. E take Snout with him to his Aunt Ida's house. In the meantime, Zadie and Malik create a postcard sent from Snout to Zeke.
"Postcard From Snout" contains the following tropes:
- Accidental Truth: Zadie and Malik don't know anything about Aunt Ida, so they make something up to put on their postcard. They say that her house smells like waffles. Mr. E reveals at the end of the episode that her house really does smell like waffles.
- Continuity Nod: Like in "Helper For the Day," Snout has a soothing effect on people. When Mr. E hugs Snout, he stops being scared. So, Zeke lets Mr. E take Snout with him.
- Heart Symbol: The postcard from Snout has a heart on it.
- Loud Gulp: Mr. E does a loud gulp before going into the hot air balloon.
- Piggy Bank: Zadie and Malik apparently have a piñata bank where they keep their money.
- Primal Fear: Mr. E is apparently afraid of heights, as he was very hesitant about going in a hot air balloon.
- Quaking with Fear: Mr. E starts visibly shaking when Ellie suggests that the two of them go skydiving.
- Roundabout Shot: Used when Zeke spins Snout around.
- Ship Tease: At the end of the episode, Ellie suggests an idea for her and Mr. E's next outing. Mr. E has the biggest grin on his face...until Ellie suggests skydiving.
- Why Are We Whispering?: Malik and Zadie whisper to Gabriela that they want to make a postcard. Gabriela asks why they're whispering, and Malik and Zadie say it's because they want it to be a surprise.
