The Titans go on a trip to Los Angeles but end up in San Pedro, which is an hour and a half from the all the sights they want to see, and get caught up in hunting down the elusive Carl San Pedro.


  • Agony of the Feet: The Titans learn the hard way about ballet being this as Mindy Oakland puts them through their paces while asking about Carl San Pedro.
  • Balloon Belly: The Titans have Gut Gusher subs and find out just why they're they're called so, much to the janitor's dismay and disgust.
  • Chekhov's Classroom: The Titans use all the stuff they learned from their trip in San Pedro to defeat Carl's mecha by balleting over it onto the deck of the Iowa, stuffing gut gushers into her cannons which fire into the mech's mouth, which makes it explode.
  • Fancy Dinner: Beast Boy wants to eat at a Beverly Hills vegan restaurant where it costs so much just for a piece of broccoli.
  • Humongous Mecha: Carl San Pedro attacks the Titans in one made of shipping containers.
  • Killer Rabbit: Berto's three tiny dogs attack Cyborg the moment he sits on the bed cause they have dibs.
  • Meaningful Name: Robin thinks the Gut Gushers are just advertising to make them look awesome until the Titans learn the hard way why they're called so.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: Once Robin tells the Titans that the Maritime Museum is the USS Iowa, they cheer and play around on the deck of the ship.
  • Theme Parks: Starfire wants to spend her money at overpriced theme parks.
  • Vacation Episode: It starts out as a vacation episode but turns out into a world spanning adventure.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: This whole series of episodes is one to Carmen Sandiego.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Raven has this reaction to Robin saying the Titans are staying at Berto's house and not in a fancy hotel.
