• Prize Task: Best Thing That Weighs Exactly 10kg
  • Winner: Josh - homemade marmalade, which incorporates a large amount of Drambuie (5 points)
  • Justine - a suitcase filled with 10kg of travel gear for a trip to Disneyland (4 points)
  • Kura - ten bottles of rosé, which actually weighed 12kg in total^note Jeremy decided to take three bottles for himself and let Kura stay in the running (3 points)
  • Chris - 10kg's worth of carbon reductions via the planting of a tree estimated to take 34.5 years to do so^note It was also noted that Chris brought in a fig tree, which attracts rats that threaten New Zealand's biodiversity (2 points)
  • Paul - A tenth of himself, as he weighs around 100kg (0 points)^note Because he was offering the concept of a tenth of himself, which weighs nothing

• Task 1: Retrieve The Eggs From The Top Of The Pole. Your Feet May Not Leave The Ground During Your Retrieval. Most Unbroken Retrieved Eggs Wins.
  • Winner: Kura and Paul - 9 eggs (5 points)

• Task 2: Crack This Crème Brulée. Most Satisfying Crack Wins.
  • Winner: Josh - rigged a spade to smack the ramekin of crème brulée (5 points)
  • Justine - dropped multiple spoons and decorations from the balcony unsuccessfully until one landed on the ramekin (3 points)
  • Kura - attempted to use a vise, but cracked her ramekin before the vise was tightened (2 points)
  • Paul - bounced from a trampoline holding upright mannequin legs and landing the mannequin's foot into the ramekin (1 point)
  • Chris (0 points)^note Ran out of time just as he cracked his crème brulée

• Task 3: Hit The Golf Ball Into Its Hole. Fastest Wins.^note The golf hole was situated on the desk in the study. Multiple decoy flags were scattered around the Taskmaster Ranch.

• Live Task: Construct The Tallest Soap Skyscraper. While Constructing, You Must Enthusiastically Make The Noise Paul Asks The Person Before You To Make. If Your Noise Is Incorrect, Unenthusiastic, Or Takes Too Long, Paul Will Push Over Your Tower. Tallest Soap Skyscraper Wins.
  • Winner: Josh - 25 centimetres (5 points)
  • Chris - 21.5 centimetres (4 points)

  • Paul - 13 centimetres^note The only contestant to incorrectly make their noise and had his skyscraper knocked over twice because of it (2 points)

Episode 2 - "Sauce Tits"

• Prize Task: Best Thing That Delights All Five Senses
  • Winner: Josh - a "Sushi Train"^note A discounted automatic tie rack which Josh repurposed to carry sushi rolls on the hooks during the COVID-19 lockdown and features its own Sushi Train song that delights Josh's children (5 points)
  • Paul - a container, with a strip of velvet on the exterior, filled with butter chicken topped with fresh strawberries and a picture of Jason Momoa accompanied by the sound of children's laughter (4 points)
  • Chris - a sizzling hot plate Thai dish (3 points)
  • Justine - a full popcorn container in the shape of R2D2, purchased from Tokyo Disney Resort, with a strap for carrying (2 points)
  • Kura - a Big Mac placed on a chopping board surrounded by ambient lighting and sexy music (1 point)

• Task 1: Make A Dramatic Exit. Most Dramatic Exit Wins.
  • Winner: Justine - a Shortland Street pastiche in which Dr. Smith rejected Dr. Warner's pronouncement that she will never be a real doctor, followed by credits with Justine as a Copiously Credited Creator (5 points)
  • Chris - a man, finding his partner in flagrante delicto with another man^note actually a mannequin, found a gun and shot and killed his partner, his partner's lover, their dog, and then himself (4 points)
  • Kura - a kidnapped Phantom speaking directly into the camera (after a feed of fish and chips) demanding the release of his son, before disappearing with one swoop of his cape. (3 points)
  • Paul - emerged from the shed with a champagne bottle taped to his groin and two condiment bottles taped to his chest, then bounced on a trampoline while popping the champagne and squeezing the bottles (2 points)
  • Josh - kicked the ranch doors open, leapt over a fence, burst through a parachute curtain, shot a basketball into a hoop, kicked a woman^note actually a mannequin on a wheelchair in half, walked across a narrow bench, splashed into an empty kiddie pool, and attempted to perform a headstand while the Assistant poured balls over him (1 point)

• Task 2: Team Task - Transport The Milk To The Dock, Cheers The Cow, And Then Return The Milk To Its Starting Plinth. One Player Must Travel Inside The Zorb And That Player Must Carry The Cup Of Milk. Time Will Be Added For Any Spilt Milk. The Percentage Of The Milk Spilt Will Be The Percentage Of Time Added. Fastest Wins. Your Time Starts When Your Zorb Leaves The Starting Mat.
  • Winner: Chris and Paul - 9 mins 35 seconds^note actual time - 8 mins 46 seconds, milk spilt - 9.4%(5 points)
  • Josh, Justine, and Kura - 10 mins 51 seconds^note actual time - 9 mins 28 seconds, milk split - 14.7%(3 points)

• Task 3: Recite Pi To The Most Decimal Places. Your One And Only Attempt Starts In Ten Minutes.
  • Winner: Josh - 13 decimal places (5 points)
  • Kura - 12 decimal places (4 points)
  • Paul - 9 decimal places (3 points)
  • Justine - 1 decimal place^note misread the task and spent the entire ten minutes reciting hundreds of numbers without memorizing for the actual attempt (2 points)
  • Chris - 0 decimal places^note made a convoluted routine and successfully memorize 21 out of 22 numbers but had tragically forgotten the first number on his attempt (1 point)

• Live Task: Memorise The Names Of The Fish On The Poster In The Shed.^note Paul rotated through the contestants in a single-elimination round. The last contestant to name a fish correctly won. This was a reference to UK Series 9, in which Rose Matafeo brought in this fish poster as a prize task submission.

Episode 3 - "Mexican Lasagna"

• Prize Task: Most Prized Childhood Possession
  • Winner: Paul (5 points) - his mum (in lifesize cardboard cutout form)
  • Justine (4 points) - a photo of her grandfather performing as a comic, as well as his banjolele and joke book
  • Kura (3 points) - her school report cards
  • Josh (2 points) - a ninja outfit, two homemade shuriken (including one made from nails), and a toy machine gun
  • Chris (1 point) - a toy car he was given by a speech therapist

• Task 1: Hang The Washing Out To Dry. You Have Two Minutes To Hang Your Washing Following Which Paul Will Spin The Washing Line Once. Most Remaining Hung Items Wins.
  • Winner: Chris - 462 items (5 points)^note hung up the basket containing all the items
  • Paul - 28 items (4 points)
  • Josh - 17 items (3 points)
  • Justine and Kura - 11 items (2 points)

• Task 2: Pick A Card From Paul's Deck And Build A Big Flag Of The Country Written On Your Card. Best Big Flag Wins.^note The cards all had a country written on them, but showed the flag of a different country. Josh was the only one who noticed the ruse; all the others depicted the flag shown, rather than the flag of the country written. The Taskmaster still gave them points for effort.
  • Winner: Josh (5 points) - United Arab Emirates^note correct, despite his card showing the United States flag
  • Everyone Else (2 points):
    • Chris - Solomon Islands^note was supposed to be Brazil
    • Justine - Tanzania^note was supposed to be Jamaica
    • Kura - Argentina^note was supposed to be Uruguay
    • Paul - Italy^note was supposed to be Mexico; he didn't notice it despite making a joke about lasagna

• Task 3: Do Something That Will Frighten The Taskmaster. Best Fright Wins.
  • Winner: Paul (5 points) - pretended to be the Taskmaster's former radio co-host Mikey Havoc and performed a striptease while recounting their supposed erotic adventures together
  • Justine (4 points) - tied up the Taskmaster's Assistant and attacked him with a sword^note although it was the Assistant rather than the Taskmaster whom she targeted, the Taskmaster declared it scared him that she couldn't remember which of them was the Taskmaster
  • Kura (3 points) - created a frightening video with strobe effects, showing her with three eyes, a rubber snake around her shoulders, and yellow Berocca ooze dripping from her mouth
  • Chris (2 points) - staged a kidnapping of himself
  • Josh (1 point) - left numerous potentially worrying prank messages on the Taskmaster's voice mail

• Live Task: Choose Your Item Then, Sweep Your Item Towards The Drop. You Have One Sweep. If Your Item Drops, You Will Be Eliminated. The Item Swept Closest To The Edge Without Dropping Wins.

Episode 4 - "Herbs and Spices"

  • Winner: Chris - vouchers for a trip to Rotorua^note based on the publicized contact tracing of a family who contracted COVID-19 (5 points)
  • Josh - a voucher to spend a weekend working on his dad's farm(4 points)
  • Paul - photoshopped pictures of himself spending a weekend gardening with The Weeknd (3 points)
  • Justine - a voucher for a guided trip to Disneyland (2 points)
  • Kura - an offer to visit a Pizza Hut to see where she had sex with Sonny Bill Williams (1 point)

• Task 1: Prove Your^note sic Smarter Than The Other Contestants. Smartest Contestant Wins. You Have 25-√25^note =20 Minutes. You're^note sic Time Starts Now
  • Winner: Chris - used the allotted time to receive a massage from the Taskmaster's assistant which The Taskmaster deemed to be a smart use of time (5 points)
  • Kura - demonstrated Te Reo Maori even though she had to Google some of it (4 points)
  • Paul - noticed the misuse of the word Your in the task, but failed to also notice the misuse of the word you're (3 points)
  • Josh - attempted to demonstrate trivial knowledge, such as how to say 'bouncing tits' in an Aboriginal Australian dialect. Also noticed the misuse of the word Your in the task (2 points)
  • Justine - asked the Taskmaster’s assistant to find a random quiz online and only got one out of five questions right in which her only correct answer was entirely a fluke (1 point)

• Task 2: TEAM TASK: Drive Eleven Complete Laps Without Leaving The Cart. Every Lap, A Rule Will be Added. Each Time A Rule Is Broken, A Hundred Seconds Will Be Added To Your Time.
  • Winner: Josh, Justine and Kura (3 points)
  • Chris and Paul (2 points)

• Task 3: Pull The Rope To Drop The Duck. You Cannot Enter The House. Fewest Rope Pulls Wins.^note Pulling each rope overturned a bucket on the roof of the Taskmaster House attached to it. There were 26 ropes corresponding with the letters of the alphabet; the duck was in the bucket attached to the fourth rope, for "D." Other items were under the corresponding letter; e.g. the "Q" rope produced a QR code containing a clue.
  • Winner: Josh - 1 pull (5 points)

• Live Task: Trick The Taskmaster By Hiding Your Toilet Brush Either In Your Reusable Shopping Bag Or On Your Person. The Taskmaster Can Ask One Question Per Player And Make One Accusation Of Each Brushes' Location. If His Accusation Is Wrong, You Move On To The Next Round. If His Accusation Is Correct, The Player Will Leave The Game. Last Player Standing Wins.

  • Chris - a plastic bag from DEKA^note a former NZ general merchandise chain, deemed worthless by his local antiques dealer (3 points)
  • Kura - her degree in performing arts (2 points)
  • Josh - an unused birthing kit with cubes of tuna (1 point)^note the Taskmaster judged that bringing tuna into a birthing class is heinous (on top of the smells that exist already in those classes)

• Task 1: Throw Water The Furthest. You Have 15 Minutes.
  • Winner: Kura - 32m, with water in a ball (5 points)
  • Josh - 27.16m, with water in a balloon (4 points)
  • Justine - 9.10m, fishbowl water thrown from the balcony onto the ground (3 points)
  • Chris - 4.7m, fishbowl water thrown from the dock into the Taskmaster pond (2 points)^note 119m if measured from the dock to the end of the Taskmaster pond, although the Taskmaster deemed this measurement ineligible
  • Paul 0m, threw water on himself and then walked across the Taskmaster Ranch property and back (Disqualified)

• Task 2: Make History. Most Memorable And Influential Moment Wins. You Have 45 Minutes.
  • Winner: Chris - became the first gay man on the moon (5 points)
  • Paul - ran 50m wearing crocs in 10.18 seconds in the style of Tom Cruise (4 points)
  • Kura and Justine (2 points)
    • Kura - texted Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for suggestions^note apparently a friend of hers, as Ardern responded, and nobody contested that it actually was Ardern, and then settled for a tribute to Dame Whina Cooper's Māori land march
    • Justine - took a stand against the white male oppressor in 1893 by removing her corset, and then kills the man who comes after her for taking off her corset
  • Josh - a cow driving a car strikes a wheelchair-bound woman in half (again) with a jousting stick, after which Josh shoots her with a water gun (1 point)

• Task 3: Touch The Cow. The First Person To Touch The Cow Will Be Disqualified. The Second Person Will Come Third. The Third Person Will Come Second. The Fifth Person Will Come Fourth. The Fourth Person Will Come First.
  • Winner: Kura - 10m 00s (5 points)

• Task 1: Complete The Fortune Trail^note 1. Either walk under the ladder or put the ladder away in the shed; 2. Either let the black cat cross your path or carry the cat for the rest of the task; 3. Either find a lucky penny or find exactly $13; 4. Either spill the salt or throw the salt container over your shoulder into the bin; 5. Either open the umbrella in the caravan or close the 13 umbrellas in the study And Then Flip Five Consecutive Heads^note Had anyone gone to the shed or into the study to complete the more arduous "lucky" actions, they would have found a lucky double-sided coin with heads on each face.   • Chris - Pulled the Assistant (who was marooned on a boat in the Taskmaster Pond) to shore (2 points)
  • Josh - After being alerted to the Assistant wondering what he is allergic to, performs a variety of stunts while mobilizing... and informing the Assistant of his allergies (1 point)

• Task 3: Pat The Taskmaster's Assistant On The Back. The Assistant Is On The Balcony. If The Assistant Films You On His All-The-Way Zoomed Camera, He Will Yell Your Name And You Must Return To The Mat And Start Again. Every Eight Seconds The Music Will Play For Four Seconds. When The Music Plays, The Assistant Must Film His Feet. Fastest Wins.

• Tiebreaker: Pop The Champagne Cork As Far As Possible. You Have Two Minutes To Prepare And Pop Your Cork.
  • Winner: Chris - 16.89m (1 point)^note Tiebreakers are not technically worth points and so do not count towards the overall episode and season tally; it is included here simply for the purposes of clarifying the winner

This is the first ever use of a task in 'Taskmaster NZ to break a tie. Had Justine won the tiebreaker task, this would have been her only episode win.

Episode 7 - "Butt Heavy"

• Prize Task: Best Thing On A Stick
  • Winner: Josh - Olympic track and field athlete Eliza McCartney, who won bronze in the pole vault event in the Rio 2016 Olympics (5 points)
  • Justine - a memory stick with a recording of a younger Justine singing at one of her birthdays, recorded by her grandfather (4 points)
  • Chris - a humble fish and chip hotdog (3 points)
  • Kura - chicken satay on a stick, dessert lollies^note pineapple lumps and Jet Planes on a stick, scratch cards taped to a stick, and money taped to a stick (2 points)
  • Paul - a self-made Stick Man, the mascot for NZ supermarket chain PAK'nSAVE and who is voiced by Paul himself in advertisements (1 point)

• Task 1: Give The Taskmaster's Assistant Money. Most Money Wins. You Have Ten Minutes.
  • Winner: Justine - $200^note a $50 note and $150 on EFTPOS (5 points)
  • Josh - $101^note bank transfer (4 points)

• Task 2: Team Task - Enchant The Forest. Most Enchanted Forest Wins. You Have Sixty Minutes
  • Winner: Chris and Paul - A "Bitch Queen Sex Witch" (Chris, dangling from the side of a tree) and her assistant (Paul Ego) perform a ritual for a young, well-dressed, virginal man (the Taskmaster's Assistant) to prepare him for a life of horniness (5 points)
  • Josh, Justine, and Kura - A promotional video for weddings and functions in the forest, which is inhabited by "the Bush Lady" (Justine cackling and eating playing cards) and "the Man" (Josh playing the recorder and threatening to wear the viewer like a pair of "Christmas socks". (3 points)

• Task 3: Leave The Room And Come Back In Exactly Eleven Minutes. Your Time Starts When You Leave The Room. Spot The Twelve Changes To This Room^note The differences include the addition of a bird cage with a rat inside; a rug in front of the desk; a banana on top of a low cabinet; a modified portrait of the Taskmaster with no glasses and a different colour tie; a pencil holder, a small lamp, and an exit sign on a bookshelf; a portrait on the wall is turned upside down; the Assistant is sporting a moustache; and Season 2 contestant David Correos is painted to camouflage against the wallpaper. Most Correct Wins. You Have Three Minutes.

• Task 4: Create A Thirty Second Scene From A Blockbuster. You Must Play The Main Character And That Character Must Be The President. The President Must Wear The Provided Costume. Your Scene Must Start And End With Two Of The Following Situations: 1. (In The Study) Crash Zoom Out Of Your Mouth; 2. Drinking A Cup Of Tea At The Bar; 3. Doing A Forward Roll In The Field; 4.   • Chris - spotted some geese and then started to imitate them, including attempting to bite the Taskmaster's Assistant - 2m 13s (3 points)

Chris was the only contestant to spot and read out the task while filming the best new superhero task. He elected to complete this task during Task 3 of "Well, Alright!" (5 points)

• Task 3: Hide This Body^note The bodies were the best friends which the contestants crafted out of dummies in the preceding episode. The Body That Stays Hidden The Longest Wins. Detective Paul^note the Taskmaster's Assistant, sporting a false mustache Will Start Searching In Fifteen Minutes^note during the fifteen minutes, the Assistant was hidden in the shed.
  • Winner: Chris - took Sacky home and trolled the Assistant over several weeks, only to reveal in studio that his friend's body was hidden inside his prize entry - 72 days, 6 minutes (5 points)
  • Kura - hid Gorothea in the bushes near the entrance to the Taskmaster Ranch property - 9 days, 16 hours, 8 minutes (4 points)^note according to the Assistant, Gorothea was only found on the very last day of filming on the Taskmaster Ranch property after everyone else had wrapped up
  • Josh - hid Tony under some grass in the woods - 3 days, 20 hours, 21 minutes (3 points)
  • Justine - hid Lucy underneath the caravan^note apart from Paul's attempt, underneath the caravan was always the first spot that the Assistant searched for the body - 52 seconds (2 points)
  • Paul - hid Consuela in the woods just behind the shed^note Paul did not locate the Assistant in the shed and the Assistant was able to hear Paul hiding Consuela - 44 seconds (1 point)

This person fooled every contestant into thinking that they were the Assistant, and then the contestants wasted their tricks or treats on this mystery person. • Chris now holds the record of the most episode wins without winning the entire season, beating out previous record holders Brynley Stent (Season 1) and Guy Montgomery (Season 2), who won three episodes in their respective seasons.
• Josh Thomson is the first NZ contestant to win the first two episodes back to back, a feat managed only by Kerry Godliman and Chris Ramsey in the UK programme. He also won the first and last episodes of the season.
