James: There only one person Meowth and I would never need to worry about, and that's Jessie. - Deus ex Machina: In the beginning of the episode, Team Rocket manages to steal every single one of the twerps' Pokémon. They would've probably escaped if it weren't for the Ursaring.
- Did I Just Say That Out Loud?: Meowth realizes the ledge he was stuck on with Misty was only a few feet from the bottom.Meowth: If we'd have known that, we could have taken your Pokémon last night.
Misty: You were gonna take my Pokémon, huh?!
Meowth: Uh-uh, I meant we was gonna take your Pokémon for a nice walk in the moonlight! - Enemy Mine: Both groups get split up, and end up looking for each other. Ash and Brock end up with Jessie, while Misty ends up with James and Meowth.

- Mating Season Mayhem: As quoted above, Ash and co. learn (after finally getting out of the forest) that a big reason the Ursaring they encountered were acting so aggressive (like, more so than usual) is because it's their breeding season.
