Yu faces off against Margret, after falling into an illusion of him and his friends having a celebration to mark their leader's last day in Inaba. An ancient goddess reveals to Yu how he obtained the Wild Card and the ability to enter the TV. Yu's last day in Inaba may be his last day period, unless he can accept the truth.

- 11th-Hour Superpower: Yu receives the Orb of Insight from Margaret, allowing him to see the truth behind Izanami's illusory form. He then upgrades his normal Izanagi to its final form, Izanagi-no-Okami, allowing him to defeat Izanami-no-Okami after a grueling fight.

- Graceful Loser: Izanami, after her defeat, congratulates Yu and the Investigation Team in their pursuit of the truth.Izanami: Well done, Children of Man!
- Grand Finale: The very last episode of the anime adaptation, which is an hour long.
- "Groundhog Day" Loop: It's revealed halfway through the episode that Yu has been trapped in a Lotus-Eater Machine that makes him relive his final day in Inaba while the Investigation Team has been trying to fight Izanami. In fact, it even encompasses the ending of the last episode. When he hits rock bottom after seeing his friends dying, he decides to indulge in Izanami's ploy and relive the same day multiple times.
