Lloyd infiltrates the Council of the Crystal King, while the other ninja face an escaped Mechanic.

- Dramatic Unmask: Kabuki Mask reveals their identity to Lloyd at the end of the episode.
- Evil Is Petty: Pythor taunts Asheera about her Madness Mantra.Aspheera: The ninja have meddled in all our plans. The time for revenge is at hand. Revenge. Revenge!
Pythor: "Revenge, revenge".
Aspheera: What?
Pythor: What what?
Aspheera: What did you say?
Pythor: I don't know. What did I say? - The Guards Must Be Crazy: Where the guard for once are the heroes. Neither Jay nor Cole pay enough attention, allowing the Mechanic to slip his bonds and attack them, resulting in the entire truck being flipped over.
- Look Behind You: Lloyd tries escaping the Council by pointing at something behind them, then fleeing while they're looking, but it doesn't work.
- Mooks: We see what the vengestone the Crystal King's been smuggling is for; rank upon rank of soldiers made of the stuff.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: While the other villains in the Crystal King's Legion of Doom have never met the Mechanic before, Lloyd's disguise only consists of the Mechanic's clothes and a fake mustache. And yet this fools the villains completely until Kabuki Mask arrives and exposes him.
- Something Only They Would Say: Harumi proves herself by singing the same song she sang back in Season 8.
- Wham Shot: Kabuki Mask takes off their mask to reveal... Harumi.
- Worf Had the Flu: The ninja do badly against the Mechanic, noting that their time out of practice is not helping.
