Crockett and Tubbs investigate a sleazy porn ring where a young actress, Penny McGraw, is being plied with cocaine in order to make her more pliable. Later, she's found dead after an apparent overdose that is actually an attempt to keep her from testifying against her bosses. Along the way, they befriend a undercover and fanatical FBI agent, Arthur Lawson. One who may have gone over to the other side.
