The fourth round of the "5-Round Workplace Showdown" between Hiden Intelligence and ZAIA Enterprise has arrived! This time, it is a showdown among firefighters! By creating drills simulating real-life fire scenarios, both sides will determine whether a Firefighter-Type HumaGear or a human firefighter with a ZAIA Spec will be able to rescue the most civilians! A building has been set up to recreate a rubble rescue on the basement floor, the first floor a fire rescue, and the second floor from a smoke rescue! However, suddenly during the midst of their competition, a mysterious Raider appears and causes an explosion!
- All Men Are Perverts: The firefighters and Aruto's reaction to beautiful women in distress? Start cheering. Their reaction to buff men in distress? Stop cheering.
- Bait-and-Switch: The episode starts with a group of firefighters responding to a fire, using the ZAIASpecs as communication and saving a child trapped under some rubble...until its revealed its just a commercial for ZAIASpecs Aruto is watching for context on what the 4th round of the competition is going to be about.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Much like the previous episode, Jin's Burning Falcon utterly decimates Assault Wolf with little to no effort.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Though Homura is sort of a Jerkass towards 119 Nosuke on account of him being a HumaGear and therefore (in his eyes) can't understand what it means to be a firefighter, he does have a point that the android was rather heartless in his decision to leave behind an unconscious and heavily injured victim and leaving them for dead while prioritizing those that were conscious. As he points out, a firefighter has to save everyone he can, regardless of what condition they are in.
- Let No Crisis Go to Waste: Gai pulls this twice in wake of the fire the Raider started; the first time, he has Yua turn 119nosuke into a Mammoth Magia in front of the reporters covering the sudden fire to further attack the credibility of Hiden's Humagears, and then when its revealed that Jun, Sanzo, and Shester are still in the burning building, he declares whoever saves them is the victor of the fourth round.
- Oh, Crap!: Jun and Sanzo have a collective one once they realize that they're now in the middle of an actual fire.
- Ordered to Cheat: The Scouting Panda Raider states that they're there to insure that Homura wins by any means necessary. Notably, the fire is cause specifically by 119 Nosuke dodging their shot aimed at his head at the last second.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Homura gave 119 Nosuke one after seeing him callously abandon the unconscious victim:Takeshi: You can't be sure someone is dead just because you don't see any signs of life! That's not how saving someone works! And anyone who gives up on a life isn't fit to fight fires!
- Skewed Priorities:
- Despite the exercise turning into an actual life-or-death situation, Gai chooses to continue the Workplace Competition in spite of the fact that the volunteers for the exercise are now trapped inside an actual burning building.
- 119 Nosuke, who intended to abandon a victim who suffered cardiac arrest and leave him for dead in favor of those still alive. This severely angered Homura, who barely manages to resuscitate and save said victim.
- This Is Not a Drill: What started off as a rescue drill as part of the 5-Stage Workplace Competition becomes an actual life-endangering emergency thanks to the intervention and sabotage of the Scouting Panda Raider. Gai does nothing to help the situation either, as instead of his previous actions and canceling the round and restart it later, he chooses to continue despite lives now being at stake.
- This Just In!: A news crew appears at the scene to report the fire, despite the anchorwoman appearing extremely distressed as she was originally assigned to report on a sweets shop nearby and has no apparent experience reporting emergencies. Gai takes the opportunity to demonstrate a berserk HumaGear on live television as 199nosuke succumbs and becomes a Mammoth Magia.
- To Be Lawful or Good: 119 Nosuke prioritized the victims that suffered injuries but still conscious while abandoning the unconscious victim to Left for Dead. This action infuriated Homura and yelled at him for such behavior.
- You Monster!: Aruto outright calls Gai one for using Jun, Sanzo and Shester's lives as part of the competition.
