Having suffered and lost one of their own, the teens race to reach the docks before the last ferry leaves and decide that they are not going down without a fight when they face one final peril in Jurassic World’s tunnel system.
- All for Nothing: After dodging the Indominus, Pteranodons, and Mosasaurus, losing Ben and Bumpy, jumping from the monorail, getting lost in the underground tunnels, and fighting off Toro, the five remaining campers finally reach the docks… only to find they’re too late. The ferries have already left, and they’ve been left behind on Isla Nublar.
- Big, Bulky Bomb: The campers rig up a cluster of pressurized oxygen and gas canisters into a very large crate, then attach a fuse to it and roll it towards Toro as he approaches… but the fuse was way too long, and before it can go off, Toro charges the improvised bomb and smashes it to pieces. It still comes in handy though, when Darius flings a live cattle prod at one leaking canister, causing a huge explosion that burns Toro and buries him in rubble.
- Big Shadow, Little Creature: While going through the underground tunnels, the campers see a theropod’s shadow round a corner up ahead… only for a single Compy to show up. Unfortunately, several more Compies also show up, and begin to Zerg Rush Kenji… until Toro the Carnotaurus shows up, at which point the smaller dinosaurs decide Screw This, I'm Outta Here
- Both Sides Have a Point: The guard is right that Dave and Roxie have no choice but to evacuate, given that it’s too dangerous for them to go back to search for the kids. Dave and Roxie are also right that the kids may still be alive and they can’t just leave them behind on Isla Nublar so they have to go back to look for them.
- Chekhov's Gun: The underground Tunnel Network Kenji introduced Darius to in episode 2 is used here, as a shortcut to the docks.
- Later, the cattle prod Yaz finds in the tunnel and uses as a crutch serves as the detonator for the ersatz bomb Darius rigs up.
- Corrupted Contingency: While going through the park’s underground tunnels, the campers find that several security gates have closed to bar up the tunnels as the park began to shut down. This slows their progress considerably.
- Death Glare: Darius gives Toro one after the Carnotaurus drags himself out of the rubble.
- Disney Death: Ben falls from the running monorail, and is lost to sight before several Pteranodons swoop down after him. Everyone else believes him dead. The last shot of the season is of his Finger-Twitching Revival.
- Downer Ending: The kids discover they were too late to reach the ferry and have been left behind on Isla Nublar.
- Finger-Twitching Revival: At the very end of the episode, Bumpy finds Ben from where he fell from the monorail. The last shot of the season is Ben’s fingers starting to twitch, showing he’s still alive.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After getting buried in rubble, severely burned by the explosion Darius rigged up, and seeing the campers are still willing to fight back, Toro decides enough is enough, and stomps off.
- Season Finale: The episode is the finale of the first season, with the climax being the campers facing off against Toro.
