A few days after being left behind during the evacuation of Jurassic World, the kids make camp on Main Street and search for an emergency distress beacon, however they soon discover it is now inside the nest of Jurassic World's Tyrannosaurus Rex.
- After the End: The episode takes place on and around Main Street right after the fall of Jurassic World. The place is a ruin, with wrecked buildings and vehicles everywhere.
- All for Nothing: At the very end of the episode, the emergency beacon registers its signal as having been received, heavily hinting that the campers will be rescued soon. This isn’t followed up on until Season 5… when it's revealed that Mantah Corp. were the ones who received it, and nobody else even knew about it.
- The Cameo: Blue is showing running around in the underground tunnel.
- Chekhov's Gun: The cardboard cutout of Brooklynn on Main Street that the campers find at the beginning of the episode eventually comes in handy for distracting Rexy.
- Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: While reading “The Insider’s Guide to Jurassic World”, Sammy cheerily notes that aircraft aren't allowed to fly over Isla Nublar… before realizing that's probably not good for their odds of being rescued.
- From Bad to Worse: After surviving the escape of the Indominus Rex and being left behind on Isla Nublar, the kids find out that there is an emergency distress beacon, and it is now inside the nest of the park's Tyrannosaurus rex.
- Hidden in Plain Sight: Much of Jurassic World’s infrastructure is disguised as natural phenomena. Garbage cans look like rocks, electrical cables look like vines, and the emergency beacon is hidden inside what looks like a palm tree.
- Killed Offscreen: In the context of this show, the Indominus Rex has been taken down by the Mosasaur offscreen due to the campers not being present in the climax of the movie it is tying in to. The same goes for the rest of the raptor squad besides Blue, who were seen in the first season but don’t show up again after being killed in the movie.
- Late to the Tragedy: While the fences are down all over Jurassic World, the campers soon find that Main Street has been absolutely trashed by the fight between Rexy and the Indominus.
- Minimalist Cast: The campers minus Ben are the only characters in the episode. Ben appears in a nightmare Darius is having, while his father is shown in the same nightmare.
- Nightmare Sequence: Darius has a nightmare about finding, then losing Ben, who turns into his father.
- Terrifying Tyrannosaur: Rexy shows up in the series for the first time in this episode. She’s building a nest in her old habitat out of junk and vegetation, is the biggest danger in the episode, and is the main reason the campers decide not to live on the supply-rich Main Street.
- We Need a Distraction: Brooklynn uses a walkie-talkie and a cardboard cutout of herself to distract Rexy from Kenji and Darius.
