This video contains examples of:
- Adaptation Expansion: "Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee" is expanded into three proper verses compared to its iteration in the film, which is more of a "verse-and-a-half plus some loose fragments". Sadly, those fragments are mostly thrown out completely in favor of mixing and matching the more well-known and easily heard lyrics it already had. The audio for this version was originally recorded for the ride "Pinocchio's Daring Journey" at Disneyland.
- Big "SHUT UP!": Professor Owl when trying to introduce The Zorro Theme Song due to the song The Three Caballeros still playing.
- Bowdlerize: The lyrics "We're rascals, scoundrels, villains and knaves/Drink up, me hearties, yo-ho/We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs/Drink up, me hearties, yo-ho" were omitted from "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me" in the original print.
- Re-Cut:
- Both (Yo-Ho) A Pirate's Life for Me and The Siamese Cat Song were cut in later reprints (the former in 1993 and the latter in 1994), but they were retained on the 1994 Spanish-language VHS release.
- For some reason, during "Let's Go Fly A Kite", the shots of Mary Poppins watching the Banks family from the window is replaced with clips of Admiral Boom.
- Stock Footage: "Yo Ho" uses footage from the Wonderful World of Color episode "Disneyland: From the Pirates of the Caribbean to the World of Tomorrow".
- Variations on a Theme Song: The 1993 reprint uses the remixed closing theme.
