Japanese Title: Legendary Deckerdramon, Stir!

Cutemon heals Lilamon, who tells Akari that DarkKnightmon is following Stingmon to the Forest Zone's guardian. Beyond the temple's gate, DarkKnightmon fights off the holy ground's AtlurKabuterimonnote  guards at Nene's urging before telling her that he is the one who gives the orders in their team. Taiki resolves to save Nene from DarkKnightmon, but Akari angrily reminds him that she's still their enemy. Zenjirou also decides to try to save her and rushes into the gate, only for it to bounce him back. Kiriha refuses to help them as Nene has already betrayed him once, but Lilamon tells Taiki that there is a way in. Within the temple grounds, Stingmon is slowly healed by the Forest Zone's guardian, Deckerdramon. Outside, Lilamon explains that only a couple performing a specific dance to express love can convince Deckerdramon to open the gate. Lilamon chooses Akari and Zenjirou to perform the dance since she still believes them to be a couple. Taiki walks away to talk to Kiriha, who tells him that Nene's situation isn't his problem. Taiki tells Kiriha that refusing to do anything would mean acknowledging that he was beaten by a girl before walking back to the gate, where Akari and Zenjirou are about to begin the dance. Akari and Zenjirou take the stage in flower and bee costumes, respectively and Shoutmon, the Starmons, and Dondokomon promise to cheer them on to help them through their embarrassment. Zenjirou resolves to endure it for Nene's sake while Akari decides to perform the dance to repay Lilamon for her help. Most of Xros Heart's Digimon remain to cheer them on, but a few are mortified by the sight. The dance continues through sunset into the night.

Meanwhile, Bagramon undoes the seal on Tactimon's sword. Tactimon is pleased at the thought of fighting Xros Heart at his full strength, but Lilamon's pet Digimon barges in and says that the Forest Zone is as good as out of their hands. Kongoumon contacts them to let them know he is planning to launch an attack with a swarm of GranKuwagamon in a final attempt to take the Zone.

Back in the Forest Zone, Akari and Zenjirou continue dancing as Sparrowmon and a pair of Monitamon look on from the canopy. Taiki spots them and offers to let them join him in their attempt to save Nene. Deckerdramon senses Akari and Zenjirou's love for their friends and opens the gate for them, calling those with love in their hearts to come to him. Kongoumon launches his attack and Taiki splits the Digimon into two teams. Shoutmon, Ballitamon, Dorulumon, and the Starmons go through the gate with Taiki, Akari, and Zenjirou while the rest stay behind and fight alongside the forest's residents. Sparrowmon and Kiriha follow Taiki in. Within, Nene and DarkKnightmon reach Deckerdramon.

DarkKnightmon tells Deckerdramon that he intends to recruit him, but Deckerdramon refuses as he can sense no love in DarkKnightmon's heart. Taiki and the others arrive and Taiki tells Nene that he knows DarkKnightmon is using some kind of leverage to force her to go along with his plans, which DarkKnightmon confirms. Taiki DigiXroses Shoutmon X4, who clashes with DarkKnightmon as Sparrowmon and Kiriha rush to save Nene. Kiriha arrives, DigiXroses MetalGreymon and tells Taiki that he was right about Kiriha's inability to stand being beaten. Shoutmon X4 and MetalGreymon are able to handle DarkKnightmon together, but DarkKnightmon orders Nene to use Xros Opennote . Nene does so, splitting DarkKnightmon into SkullKnightmon and DeadlyAxemonnote , who each take on one of their opponents. SkullKnightmon says that he is the controlling intelligence in their combined form before Nene DigiXroses them again into SkullKnightmon Big Axe Mode. Nene tells Deckerdramon to surrender, but he refuses to work with DarkKnightmon. He begins to tell Nene that he is willing to work with her but she silences him. SkullKnightmon orders Nene to DigiXros him back into DarkKnightmon, threatening the "one (she) cherishes most." Nene immediately thinks of her younger brother, whose name she says out loud: Yuunote . Taiki realizes that DarkKnightmon is threatening Yuu to force Nene to work for him. As Nene DigiXroses DarkKnightmon, she tells Taiki that she is willing to work with anyone if it means being able to return to the human world with Yuu, which Akari sympathizes with. Kiriha tells Nene that she needs to become stronger, which he considers the only way to heal emotional pain. Kiriha fights on, motivated by a memory of resolve in the face of grief and Deckerdramon decides to help him. Deckerdramon grants Kiriha both the Forest Zone's Code Crown and his aid in future battles as Kiriha has the strongest love among those present. Kiriha tells Deckerdramon to show him his power. Deckerdramon, MetalGreymon, and Shoutmon X4 hit DarkKnightmon with a combined barrage. DarkKnightmon decides to leave the Forest Zone and Nene tells Taiki that she is headed for the Dust Zone. Kiriha follows he through the portal to the Dust Zone.

Taiki and the others leave and Taiki DigiXroses Beelzebumon with the Starmons. The resulting upgrade allows Beelzebumon to wipe out Kongoumon's forces with a single shot. Later, the forest Digimon gather to see Xros Heart off. Taiki resolves to go to the Dust Zone to save Nene, now with Akari's approval. Dorulumon offers to guide Taiki and the others there from within the Xros Loader. They enter the portal, but a tendril of darkness grabs Taiki and drags him away, causing him to drop the Xros Loader, which Zenjirou grabs.

Tropes:

  • Alpha Strike: Shoutmon X4, MetalGreymon, and Deckerdramon fire More Dakka, a Beam Spam, and a Macross Missile Massacre respectively at DarkKnightmon to get him to retreat.
  • The Empath: Deckerdramon can sense love, whether it's romantic, familial, or friendship, in others.
  • Magic Missile Storm: A DigiXros with the Starmons lets Beelzebumon's Arm Cannon fire one that wipes out all of Kongoumon's forces.
  • Never Smile at a Crocodile: Deckerdramon is a giant mechanical crocodile.
  • Power Limiter: Bagramon removes the seal on Tactimon's sword, and the limit on the latter's power with it.
  • The Power of Love: A rather unconventional use of this trope. Deckerdramon joins Kiriha on the basis of him having extremely strong love for family and friends as opposed to romantic love, which is the usual definition.
  • The Soulless: In the dub, Deckerdramon says that DarkKnightmon has no heart at all.
  • Tank Goodness: Deckerdramon is a heavily armed and armored mechanical crocodile with cannons and missile launchers as its weapons.
  • Zerg Rush: Kongoumon attempts one, but the entire swarm is wiped out with a single attack by Beelzebumon.
