Now loading tropes:

  • Bavarian Fire Drill: When the Arctic Prison wardens asks about authorization for releasing some of the villains, Numbuh 4 says that he can call the Moon Base to ask Numbuh 86 about that, knowing he wouldn't dare in order to not put up with her attitude.
  • Be the Ball: Numbuh 4's dad (accidentally) uses him as a bowling ball.
  • Bowling Episode: This episode is about bowling.
  • Call-Back: Toiletnator had previously mentioned that Mr. Boss and other villains regularly go bowling. The featured four villains being champion bowlers is why they were recruited, and they put those skills to use.
  • Continuity Nod: Numbuh 4's pool still has sand in it instead of water.
  • Counting to Potato: Numbuh 4's marching chant.
Numbuh 4: One! Four! Eight! Blue! Seven! Twelve! Nine! Thirty-six!
  • Drill Sergeant Nasty: Numbuh 4 becomes this to the adult villains, such as during the Training Montage where he enacts typical US Army training routines on them such as push-ups, crawling under barbed wire and giving them little time to sleep. The villains call Numbuh 4 out on how unnecessary the training regime was just to prepare them for the bowling tournament, as they were already champion bowlers.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: After getting slammed on the ground, kicked and spanked by the villains, Numbuh 4's dad says they seem like "a bunch of swell guys".
  • Idiot Ball: Numbuh 4 for drinking the same type of soda in front of the villains he blackmailed and said was poison - so he has to admit he lied. This ends up being his undoing of his scheme to take down his dad, as he nervously backs away from them right into his dad's hand and gets used as the ball. This makes him a rather literal version of this trope.
  • Jerkass Ball: Numbuh 4 as usual, but takes it up to eleven. Here, he tries to get his dad to lose a bowling tournament so that he won't get forced to polish his father's newest trophy along with his many other trophies.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Numbuh 4's father needed to complete a spare to win the tournament, after accidentally rolling Numbuh 4 instead of the ball, he was only able to topple 1 pin, which leads to Numbuh 4 celebrating... and ending up knocking over the remaining pin himself, giving his dad's team the win. The episode ends with Numbuh 4 not only being thrown into the Arctic Prison along with the villains he illegally freed, but also polishing the bowling trophy his dad won that is the size of an oak tree.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Numbuh 4 got the villains to help him out by poisoning their sodas that will make their tonsils explode after 48 hours, and would only give them the antidote after helping him. Turns out the sodas were never poisoned, he just lied to them.
  • Mugged for Disguise: The villains steal the bowling uniforms of a team that laughed at how goofy they looked.
  • Oblivious Guilt Slinging: While it doesn't make him reconsider, Numbuh 4 clearly feels a little guilty about trying to make his dad lose the championship.
Numbuh 4: The only way you could lose is if someone hired a bunch of supervillains to beat the pants off ya. Heheheh.
Sydney: [laughs] What kind of sick little dingo would do something like that?
    [Numbuh 4 frowns.]
  • Poison and Cure Gambit: Numbuh 4 tricks the villains into working with him by claiming their sodas are poisoned. He'll only give them the antidote if they work with him.
  • Potty Failure: The montage song's lyrics mention this.
Don't pee in your pants/If you want a victory dance
  • Swapped Roles: Here, Numbuh 4 is the main antagonist while the adult enemies of the KND are portrayed in a sympathetic light.
  • Temporarily a Villain: Numbuh 4.
