The Heeler sisters are playing with their doll, Kim Jim, in a blanket fort, while Bandit watches sports and Chilli wanders around aimlessly. The girls want to make their fort bigger to fit more toys, while Chilli wants the actual living room to be bigger, and Bandit wants the TV to be bigger. The girls then take the couch cushions, making Bandit sit on the floor.

The girls build a play bedroom for their doll in the fort, then they take various pillows, blankets, and chairs to enlarge their fort further. This frustrates Bandit, because they get in his way. Meanwhile, Chilli measures the room as the girls add a play bathroom, and dining room.

They add an "art room", in which they draw and pretend the doll is drawing too, and upon realising there's no fridge to stick the drawings onto, decide to build a kitchen.

Hours later, the girls' fort now fills the entire living room, causing trouble for Bandit as he can't get past it to access the bathroom. The girls tell him to go through it and give him directions, but they tell him not to "mess anything up".

He crawls through, at one point bumping into Chilli, who has him carry her tape measure. Then, the girls get lost too, with Bluey having to find the "library" next to the "stable" where Bingo is. When the girls rendezvous, they realise they've lost Kim Jim.

They search frantically, but can't find it. Bandit is still lost, so he stands up to have a look around, but knocks the whole fort down. Then, the girls find Kim Jim and downsize their fort back to how it was in the beginning. Chilli has also decided the living room is big enough.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Some of the stuffed animals wear accessories, such as the crown on the Queen doll and the bowtie on the teddy bear.
  • Calling Your Bathroom Breaks: Bandit says, "I need to use the toilet!" when he's stuck behind the giant fort.
  • Comically Missing the Point: When Bandit asks where the toilet is, Bingo directs him to the play toilet.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • The "yes-no button" from "Dance Mode" is seen under the couch cushions.
    • One of the toys in the giant fort is the Queen doll from "The Show".
  • Cutting the Knot: Bandit spends about half the episode trying to find his way through the blanket fort to get to the toilet. Eventually he just stands up to try and find a way out of it, accidentally knocking the whole thing down as he does so.
  • Furry Reminder:
    • The girls wag their tails at certain points.
    • They howl when they're sad about losing their toy.
  • Howl of Sorrow: The Heeler sisters howl when they can't find their doll.
  • Lost Toy Grievance: The Heeler sisters flip when they lose their toy, to the point of Bingo even kneeling down dramatically.
  • Playing House: The girls play at putting their doll to bed, having meals, etc.
  • Speak in Unison:
    • The girls say that they've lost their toy in unison.
    • When Chilli asks the kids if they need more room, they say at once, "No, we're fine".
  • Toilet Humour: The reason Bandit needs to get through the playhouse is so he can use the toilet.
