Beavis and Butt-Head are in charge of caring for an injured baby bird.

  • Accidental Hero: Beavis and Butt-Head save the baby bird's life in a completely misguided attempt to kill it. Mr. Stevenson congratulates them anyway.
  • Achievements in Ignorance: Beavis and Butt-Head manage to recover the baby bird by feeding it, but only because they assumed that doing so would kill it.
  • Bad People Abuse Animals: Played With. Beavis and Butt-Head attempt to abuse the baby bird so it could die, but it actually makes a full recovery since they stupidly thought that feeding the bird would kill it.
  • Comedic Sociopathy: Beavis and Butt-Head are more than excited to see the baby bird die.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Beavis and Butt-Head don't appear to recognize everyone's concern for the baby bird's well-being. They go as far as believing that the nurse would help them with killing it.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Beavis and Butt-Head believe that the baby bird would only die after it had eaten, as the nurse claimed that it would die even if it was fed.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: Beavis and Butt-Head actually do something good for once... but only by mistake.
  • Lack of Empathy: Per usual, Beavis and Butt-Head don't care about the baby bird's well-being at all, actually wanting it to die for their own amusement. Butt-Head was even willing to toss it in the trash as they arrive at the veterinary hospital.
  • Never Learned to Read: Butt-Head misreads "symptoms" from the fill-out form as "Simpsons".
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: It is most certain that the baby bird would have died if the duo hadn't decided to feed it in a misguided attempt to kill it.
  • One Dialogue, Two Conversations: The nurse tells Beavis and Butt-Head that even if the baby bird was fed, it would die anyway. The duo misinterprets this as her telling them to feed it so it could die.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Implied. Beavis stops the cat from attacking the baby bird, suggesting that he believes that only he and Butt-Head should have it killed.
  • Springtime for Hitler: Beavis and Butt-Head only managed to bring the baby bird back to full health by mistake, as they were convinced that feeding it would kill it.
  • Very Special Episode: Parodied. Beavis and Butt-Head are tasked with taking care of a crippled baby bird and actually manage to recover it by feeding it... but they actually wanted it to die for their own amusement and only fed it because they mistakenly assumed that it would only die after it had eaten.
  • Would Hurt a Child: A variation, as it isn't a human, but Beavis and Butt-Head have absolutely no qualms about trying to kill a helpless baby bird for their own amusement.
