Ay, ay, ay, I'm your little butterfly!

Smile.dk is a Swedish Eurodance and Bubblegum Dance music group that is known for their song "Butterfly", which has been featured in numerous media and even toys. Their overall style is Japanese culture and anime mixed with the genre.


Smile.dk contains examples of:

  • All Asians Wear Conical Straw Hats: In the video for "Butterfly", two Japanese children wear these hats as the girls approach them at first, thinking they're samurais.
  • Break Up Song: "Dancing All Alone" and "Heal My Broken Heart" are about the effects following a breakup.
  • Call-Back: "Doki Doki" offers an homage to "Butterfly".
