Ayumu loves everything about Yu

Ayumu and her childhood friend/Yu
Ayumu and her childhood friend has a Pseudo-Romantic Friendship due to being Childhood Friends.
- Ayumu's official profile
:She decided to become a school idol because of you, her childhood friend.She loves everything about you. - In one of her Bond Stories, Ayumu does a Romantic Spoonfeeding for a piece of rolled egg that she specifically cooked to her childhood friend's taste.
- The Sick Episode in Ayumu's bond story has her nursing her childhood friend from the cold. The next chapter reveals that Ayumu has caught it, resulting in a Caretaker Reversal.
- Ayumu does feel jealous when someone else is taking her childhood friend on a date like in Mari and You's bond stories. Mari even notices it and advises the player to spend some time with her.
- The current page image comes from a scene in the Mirai Harmony PV where Yu touches Ayumu's lips.
- The first episode alone has a lot of subtext between Yu and Ayumu:
- Yu outright says Ayumu looks cute no matter what she wears and Ayumu blushes. Apparently, this wasn't the first time Yu's said something like this to her either.
- When Yu takes a bite out of Ayumu's lemon-salt custard bun, a bit of its cream gets left on her face. Ayumu then wipes it off of her with her finger and then licks it.
- Ayumu constantly blushes whenever Yu holds her hands throughout the episode.
- Episode 11 has Ayumu consumed by jealousy to the point of distressly asking Yuu if she cares more about Setsuna than her, which Yuu quickly and flatly denies. Ayumu then throws herself at Yuu, lying over her on her bed while telling her she wants her to be only with her. This is accompanied by a shot of their feet touching, and their smartphones (which share the same colours as them) falling on top of each other in the same way.
- When Ayumu declares her intent of wanting to be a school idol in front of Yu and wanting the latter to support her, the scene is framed like a romantic confession which is then followed up by Yu accepting her wholeheartedly while promising to always stay by her side, making it look more like a marriage proposal without context.
- On season 2 episode 5, Ayumu gets jealous of Yuu going out with Shizuku, suspecting that they're dating. A scene later in the episode has Yuu and Ayumu share an intimate moment in a ferris wheel, and a particular shot from behind looks like they're kissing.
- On season 2 episode 10, Ayumu tells Yuu "the moon is so pretty" a quote by Natsume Sōseki famous for being the equivalent of a love confession in Japan's notorioulsy reserved and indirect culture. The two seem to be closer in general, with plenty of scenes of Ayumu feeding Yuu.
Karin x Ai
Karin and Ai are already shipped (although starting slowly) with each other before ALL STARS was released, which also continues the legacy of "Third Year Blonde and Purple Hair" couples like NozoEli and/or KanaMari, although this ship breaks the cycle due to the two girls' different ages, and Ai's fully Japanese origin (her usage of Engrish in her songs, on the other hand, is an entirely different matter). This pair actually won the Nijigasaki subunit poll, resulting in the duo subunit, DiverDiva!
- The Daily Theater on 1 May 2020 have them go out on a dinner date.
- Chapter 19 and 20 of Nijiyon Season 3 has them in a planetarium date.
- Saika -saika- has them singing about their summer festival date.
Karin x Emma
The anime on the other hand, portrays Emma and Karin as the closest to each other.
- In Season 1 Episode 1, after the fallout of the School Idol Club, it's Karin who comforts Emma on the matter, leading her to uncover and expose Setsuna's identity so the club could be formed again, all of it for Emma.
- During Episode 4, Karin helps the members of the club with exercising, even if she's not part of the club yet. When asked if she wants to join, she denies blushing and clearing she only did it for Emma, who is thankful.
- Episode 5 is Emma's Character Focus, dwelving deeper into their relationship: Karin was the first student Emma met when she transferred to Japan with the goal to become a school idol. After acquainting, they agree to support each other in their goals, and when Emma realizes how Karin does want to be a school idol too, she does help her open herself up.
- It should be especially noted that Emma mentions she wants to make others happy as a school idol, saying she can't succeed if she can't do so with the most special person to her.
- Episode 9 is focused on Karin, and while it doesn't revolve in their relationship as much, it still goes to show Emma caring a lot about Karin opening herself.
- In Season 2 Episode 1, the club accidentally plays some Hilarious Outtakes across the school. The Japanese dialogue for one of these has Karin muttering in her sleep towards Emma.
Kasumi x Shizuku
Both the game and the anime on the other hand, portrays Kasumi and Shizuku being extremely close to each other.
- In the game, it's revealed that Kasumi and Shizuku walks together to school
- Both girls are almost always with each other in the anime.
- Even when Kasumi was angry at Shizuku for leaving the School Idol Club to join Lanzhu, she still invited Shizuku to her live performance.
- Episode 8 is a definite episode for the ShizuKasu fans.
- Kasumi is the first and only one to notice that something was wrong with Shizuku, and spends the entire episode trying to cheer her up.
- Kasumi ends up giving her friend some sort of love confession, which made both of them blush profusely.
- After Shizuku's performance, Kasumi is seen rapidly clapping with a proud look on her face.
- In episode 13, Shizuku bought Kasumi her signature hair clip as a "thank you" gift for helping her out with her performance.
Shioriko x Ayumu
- Shioriko and Ayumu (also known as ShioPomu) is one of the most prominent pairings in ALL STARS, with various moments that the girls share together in the game and the various Nijigasaki multimedia. Of note;
- The ship initially blew-up thanks to Shioriko being very protective of Ayumu when the conflict between her and the protagonist happens in Chapter 15-16 of ALL STARS, being the only person to directly go to Ayumu's house and then ask her if she's ok, offering to take her on a date so Ayumu does something other than sulking at home.
- In the 2nd Live pamphlet, there was a letter from Shioriko to Ayumu that reveals how Shioriko became entranced by Ayumu's performance as an idol, inspiring her to later become an idol herself in Chapter 17.
- The SIFAS Daily Theatres provide plenty of cute moments and inspiration for writers and artists that are fans of ShioPomu.
- Shioriko pretending to forget a towel just so Ayumu feels better by lending her one - and then keeping the towel forever and becoming her favorite, something which Shizuku notices and teases her over.
- Shioriko interviewing Ayumu about the upcoming Shuffle Festival and then letting slip her true feelings regarding Ayumu - "I, uh... love you the way you are, so...".
- Going for ice cream crepes together, Shioriko notices that Ayumu has a bit of whipped cream around her mouth, lovingly cleaning it up.
- The bond they develop with each other is so strong, that even Shizuku, Ai, and the protagonist (that is notoriously dense) notice how much Ayumu loves Shioriko, even to the point of feeling some jealousy in the case of the latter.
Crossover Ships
- People who had been speculating the Maki/Riko pairing for years got a treat with the "Music Made Together" event and Riko's "Flower Symphony" UR◊.
- Riko also happens to have the most blatantly-ship-fueled birthday messages in the game. One example is Karin's birthday, where Riko states that Karin's beauty is enough to make her feel attracted.
- Mari has a birthday message to Karin that borders on sexual harassment.Mari: "Oh, that's an interesting place for a mole, Karin. Do you have any more? Let me see."
- In Chapter 6, Karin gets up and close with Eli and says the following:Karin: "Eli, your skin is so nice. It's fair and smooth, like a field of fresh snow that not a single being has stepped foot in."
Others
- Karin herself is prone to teasing her underclassmen, even teaching them how to be sexy like her. Kasumi is her most frequent target.
- Love Live Days vol.6 has this image of Setsuna doing a Wall Pin of Love against Karin.
- Kasumi is very fond of the player character and tries to get her attention each time.
- One of the bond stories has Ai feeding Rina her lunch.
