Heartwarming / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III

• Raphael's bonding with Yoshi, especially when you consider his anger issues in the first two movies, which progressed from him being cold and distant, to engaging in camaderie with his brothers (but he still has his moments^note and also become Harsher in Hindsight when in the Stealth Sequel TMNT, they once again grown more distant).
• At the end of the film, Mikey's a bit depressed because he had to leave the friends he made in feudal Japan, coming to the conclusion that Growing Up Sucks. How does Master Splinter help his son out of his funk? By wearing that lampshade from the beginning!
  Splinter: Yo, dude!
  (Mikey looks up to see Splinter wearing the lampshade)
  Mikey: Ha! Yo, dude! Hahaha!
  Splinter: Just like Elvis in Blue Hawaii. I saw it on cable.
  • This is followed by his brothers cheering him up with a dance number. Mike cheerfully joins the three as the movie ends.
• Casey and April hugging at the end after Splinter makes his joke. Even though they're (probably) not a couple anymore (or yet) they still care about each other deeply.
• Kenshin and Mitsu's last scene. Having finally returned home, Kenshin emulates a poster he saw in the turtles' lair and embraces Mitsu in an romantic embrace and kisses her. The lighting even changes to emphasize the emotional nature of the scene.
  • Moments before that, Kenshin hands the Scepter to Mitsu, who then offers it to Norinaga, who accepts it. Showing that the two enemies have made peace with each other, and that Norinaga accepted his son's relationship with her.
• Before leaving, one of the honor guards tearfully hugs Casey twice. Casey's reaction indicates he too has grown fond of the honor guard, comforts him and bids him farewell.
