Awesome / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III

• Say what you will about the film, the training sequence in the beginning is a keeper. It's more a less an exhibition for the Turtles' fighting styles, all while a ZZ Top song is playing. And remember, these are men in costumes moving around like that.
  • The fights in general in this film are superb and energetic, returning to large-scale fights that feel line the Turtles taking on proper armies.
  • After not getting to use their weapons properly in the previous film, the ninja action is back in this installment.
• Michelangelo saving the little boy, Yoshi, from a burning building
• For all the hate that this film gets, special mention must be made of the scene where Leonardo successfully revives a child using CPR. Aside from the awesome surprise that Leo was sufficiently skilled in this if not outright certified, the performance of it looks far more realistic than one would expect of a giant turtle, especially considering the film's reputation for the turtle costumes.
• Leo's duel with Lord Norinaga. Lord Norinaga is a seasoned Samurai warrior, Leo is a teenager. Unlike Leo's fight against the Shredder, where he managed to land a few hits but was defeated after Shredder managed to push his Berserk Button, here after Norinaga angers Leo, Leo still manages to fight him off and win. And the cherry on the cake is that Leo doesn't kill Norinaga. He simply embarrasses him by cutting off his Samurai Ponytail (which Norinaga sees as an insult) and then traps him under a huge bell.
