• The scepter will not allow clothes to be transported, but it does allow objects people are holding to be transported (April keeps her cassette player, the various samurai keep their swords, and the Turtles keep their weapons) and while they aren't wearing human clothes, the Turtles' bandanas, elbow/knee pads, wristbands, and belts are also technically clothes, so they shouldn't have been transported to Feudal Japan either.
  • Perhaps Lord Simultaneous or Renet the Time Mistress let it slip.
• Upon falling into a swamp, Donatello remarks: "I think I swallowed a frog. I hope it wasn't an ancestor." Now why would a frog be the ancestor of a turtle, and why would the "brains" of the quartet say something like that?
  • Donnie was probably being sarcastic in that scene.
