The ending of the webcomic is quite a Tear Jerker. From here, you are warned: spoilers ahead and we aren't hiding them.

  • Mini-epilogues are set for the most prominent characters of the webcomic:
    • Yaiba and Ryoko are back to Rokugan and after all this time outside their world, they choose to live a new life as humble farmers.
    • Mordekaim returns to the Fanhunter Universe to tell stories of his time in our reality.
    • Lobo, Deadpool, Yukari Yakumo and Shao Kahn go back to their lives and franchises.
      • Wade also jokes about Disney owning Marvel and Lucasfilm (including a cameo of Murray).
      • It is implied Yukari is one of the few who will retaing Medium Awareness after the end of the webcomic... along with Deadpool, we all know he has it wherever he is.
      • Shao Kahn might be the only non-happy ending of the cast, as he's back to Outworld, banned from all other realities, and alone. Similar to his Mortal Kombat Armageddon ending, canon before MK's retcon, except for the fact that Eldritch Abomination Tentaculín stays with him.
    • Sekhmet is back at teaching, but also works as a vigilante.
    • Sacmis and Pymie seem to be more than engaged and together own a butcher's.
    • Monty... keeps being Monty. He doesn't need anything else.
      • And so does Mike the Baliflid, who keeps being simply himself.
    • Clara is back to the superheroine business, while her friend Lucas suffers of Unresolved Sexual Tension.
    • Fëadraug is finally back with his family. Looking at him, his wife and their daughter in tears and smiling is just... sorry, I got something in my eye.

  • Carlos, the author himself, after his epiphany, proceeds to say farewell to his character and the webcomic itself.
    • When Sekhmet hugs Chuck. That moment. Buckets of tears.
    • The webcomic ends with the author going through the webcomic's infamous Fourth Revolving Door, and as he looks back the door vanishes as it is replaced by a proper Fourth Wall... and there it ends, with a satisfied smile and tears in his eyes.
