For all the moments so subversively cute and heartwarming it will literally cook your heart in your own blood...What? Every body knows that Even Evil Has Loved Ones.

  • Corin comforting Dirk upon seeing how distressed he really is, giving a kindly pep talk in the process, even though it does sound better out of context.
Corin: I get that, but you can’t let it get to you like this. Evil does hurt, and it can sometimes backfire. But you have to roll with the punches. You can’t get bogged down just because you didn’t realize what you were doing. You love giant robots.
Dirk: You’re right. I do love giant robots.
Corin: That’s the Dirk Cornelius Sexplosion that I know. Ass Maximus wouldn’t want you to stop doing what you love because of him. He would want you to be happy.
  • Corin's input on relationships, which says a lot seeing as how he regularly engages in sex himself.
I see your dilemma, Dirk, but as you know relationships aren’t just sex. There’s talking and cuddling and being there for them when they need you.
  • Also later encouraging Dirk about his adequacy and reassuring him that he certainly is due their time as friends.
  • Grace Rule of all people offering a motherly role to Belladonica upon seeing the child has been abandoned.
  • The beginning of "Paint it Black" has Corin dedicating the first bit of the announcements to a fallen employee named Dr. Kathleen Gorgon who was something of a motherly figure to him and helped him ease into the role of CEO. The sincerity that goes into the words are so endearing, it's pretty touching to hear.
Corin: I will always remember you, and I will always love you, Kathleen.
  • To thank Soundman Steven for his cooperation during the tree attack, Corin congratulates him with a new mixing board.
  • Corin admits to actually be growing some fondness for Brospehus. Even though he still suspects Brospehus is a spy, he's more willing to be around his new friend and derives some simple enjoyment from a few rounds of video games to blow off steam.
  • Upon Corin being kidnapped in "Laughter", no one has attempted to come rescue him though it later turns out that Soundman Steven is the only person who gave an attempt. He fails though Corin appreciates it, pointing out just how nice Steven is and promising to buy his loyal engineer some new gear.
  • Corin and Belladonica actually have a pretty sweet bonding moment when they go out to a restaurant together. Coirn comments that she is beautiful in a nice dress and they politely discuss that them having to be married for the sake of a prophecy couldn't work out since they aren't attracted to one another. The night ends with Belladonica kissing him on the cheek which sparks what seems to be a platonic friendship between them.
  • There's a lot of this during "Attrition", despite the awful circumstances leading to it. Being cooped up in a disgusting den for months has made the escaped employees become a weird little family.
    • Corin, Brosephus, Steven, Junior, and some other employees play a tabletop game together to kill time. Despite it mostly being an excuse for Corin to kill a character that faintly resembles Lady Kiarawa, knowing they're all getting along that way is pretty touching.
    • This is the first episode in which Corin states that he does love Soundman Steven, which is what makes Steven a target later. Despite that, it's touching to see Corin become so fond of someone and openly admit it.
    • Right at the end of the episode, Junior and Corin seem to actually be getting along.
Junior: I just wanted to say… that I always thought of us as family.
Corin: Oh. That’s sweet of you to say Junior. Me too.
