- Jason making Zane's birthday cake. He wasn't looking for a thank you, or even credit for it. He only admitted to making it after Zane figured it out.
- Based on what Jason starts to say later on, it looks like the whole reason he learned to cook was to be able to cook for Zane.
- The way Zane reacts to Jason's Freakiness Shame. He recognizes how upset his friend is, and clearly wants to help, but he doesn't push Jason to undo his glamour, or even to talk about what happened before the werewolf is ready.
- Zane continues to reassure Jason, and remind him that, in Zane's eyes at least, Freaky Is Cool.
- Sarah trusting Zane enough to guard her body while she uses her astral projection.
- The mirror trying to warn Zane about the girl he just brought into the Vault, and checking on him afterwards. It just goes to show that even though the Vault is full of dangerous objects, not everything in there is.
- Zane and Miroku each sharing their own Dark and Troubled Past. It really shows how much they've grown to trust each other in such a short amount of time.
- Taken a step further with Zane's reaction to Miroku asking which couple are really his parents. Zane makes it clear that no matter what might have happened, Eric and Morgan are his parents. They were the one's who raised him, cared for him, were there for him, and he is damned proud to be their son.
- Zane's reaction to finding out Jason survived his injuries during the fight with Orochi.
