  • Is Smileyland a planet, a fictional country on Earth or a country on another planet? It's been stated to be a planet, yet the cast have mentioned locations on Earth (and said they went on vacation to places on Earth), and it's also been stated to be a country in one episode.
  • If the cast are from Earth, how did they get to Smileyland?
  • In Episode 94, why did Quack Quack join Stumpy's protest against parents if his parents are dead?
  • If you can have anything you want in Smileyland, why don't the main four just wish for things and money instead of complaining about how poor they are?
  • In "Let's Play Justice Masters", Mr. Cat complains that the only place where he can be alone is the bathroom. If he wanted to get away from the others so badly, why didn't he just get into a cat flap?
  • How did Stumpy get his chainsaw to fly into the air in "Let's Play Red Light, Green Light"? It was just dragging him on the ground.
  • If the main four were going to discover a new star in "Let's Play Astronauts", how come Mr. Cat already had a map detailing where to find it?
  • Are the main four roommates, housemates or neighbours? In "Let's Play Once Upon a Time", they were all sleeping in one big bed in the same room, yet the expository comics and a few episodes say that they all live in different houses, and most of the episodes show them living in the same house with their own separate rooms.
  • In Episode 90, why did Mr. Cat stop Stumpy from winning? He seemed to have nothing against him for most of the episode.
    • It was a duel to the death, and Mr. Cat gave Stumpy detailed instructions on how to win, so there's the possibility that he wanted to protect Kaeloo.
  • In "Let's Play Prince Charming", if there was no WiFi at the top of the tower, how was Stumpy using Fakebook for the whole episode? It's a website which requires an internet connection, and Stumpy was using a laptop, so he couldn't be using mobile data.
    • Assuming he isn't that stupid, it could be possible that he managed to find a different WiFi connection (one that doesn't use a password, obviously).
  • In Episode 123, when Kaeloo explains the concept of death to the rest of the main four, why does everyone look shocked? It's understandable in Stumpy's case, but Quack Quack is an orphan whose parents are dead, and Mr. Cat, in his own words, knows "a little too much" about funerals. In addition, Mr. Cat's lines shortly after this suggest that he already knew about it. So why were he and Quack Quack shocked to hear about it?
  • Why would Pretty target Mr. Cat in her revenge plan in Episode 118? Not only is he the guy she has a crush on, but also, he didn't actively attack her - he was implied to be part of the planning, but how did she know that?
  • How are the cast able to drive their cars in the rain? Those cars are made of cardboard.
  • In Episode 136, why is Toddler!Kaeloo a frog and not a tadpole?
  • Also in Episode 136, if Kaeloo has been proven to be against lying, why does the flashback show Toddler!Kaeloo cheering Toddler!Mr. Cat for lying to a teacher, and present day Kaeloo remembering the incident fondly?
  • Assuming that Mr. Cat was telling the truth about how he was saved and adopted by a salmon, how exactly can a salmon (a creature that lives in the water) raise a cat (a creature that lives on land)?
  • If Stumpy can't read or write, how come he managed to graduate fifth grade? The show confirmed that he had at least finished fifth grade, and it's not even specified how many years ago this was.
  • In Episode 135, when the main four made their own episode of the show, why did Mr. Cat crush Stumpy's figurine instead of Quack Quack's?
  • If Stumpy and Quack Quack were arrested in Episode 107 for breaking into a bank, meaning Smileyland has rules that can allow people to be arrested, how has Mr. Cat not been arrested? He does all kinds of illegal things like underage drinking, sexual harassment, attempting to murder people, etc.
    • It was implied in Episode 183 that Mr. Cat has been arrested several times, just not onscreen.
  • Where do Quack Quack and Mr. Cat get money from? It doesn't seem like they have jobs, and they don't have parents they can get allowances from either.
    • It's suggested that Mr. Cat gets large amounts of money from gambling and from scamming people.
  • In Episode 75, why does Kaeloo say that Mr. Cat "stole" the time machine? As seen in "Let's Play Time Travel", the time machine belongs to Mr. Cat, not Kaeloo.
  • In "Let's Play Magicians", Kaeloo buys a magic kit that supposedly contained 2000 pieces, but really only contained 2 pieces, a wand and a top hat. Kaeloo explains to Mr. Cat that the box says she has to use the wand and top hat to magic up the other pieces. She is later seen with the other pieces which she presumably conjured up using magic. The episode later states that magic isn't real and is just an illusion. So where exactly did Kaeloo get the other pieces from?
  • Olaf is The Noseless, and people remark that he has no nose and he is unable to smell things as a result. Kaeloo is also The Noseless, so how come she can smell and why do people remark on her nose?
  • How come Mr. Cat is always trying to get Kaeloo to kiss him, but he was absolutely horrified the one time she actually did?
  • Why does Olaf not talk to Olga in Russian?
  • How come Mr. Cat never had the idea of fighting demon-possessed Quack Quack until Kaeloo told him? He's almost always looking for ways to hurt Quack Quack, even when the latter is in a state which would allow him to severely injure the cat.
  • How come Stumpy illegally downloads video games but is fine with paying real money for DLC for those games?
  • If Kaeloo is hyperactive and spends all day playing games which require a lot of physical activity, why is she still fat?
  • Why would Olaf just walk away without retaliating after finding out that Mr. Cat cheated him out of 6000 bucks?
  • The official Facebook page mentioned that Mr. Cat's favorite subject to learn at school is history, especially the parts with wars and dictators, so how does he not know what Nazism is in "Let's Play the Quest for the Wholly Gruel"?
    • Several details on the official Facebook page have been contradicted by the actual series, one of which is that Mr. Cat's favorite subject is now physics and not history.
  • How did Jean Guillaume manage to hire Mr. Cat, a twelve-year-old, as a life coach whom he recommends to his patients?
