In General

  • Rion's interactions with Kou tend to be this. It's either her scaring him and teasing with the idea of causing a scandal with him, or him getting her frustrated and embarrassed.
    • They become even funnier if Ryouta is also involved.
  • If Kou gets the Megastation 4 and Helm Poster for his room, Yuuki and Shio will come over to visit and play video games. Yuuki thoroughly trounces Kou as to be expected, but Shio, who claims to have played against Akihiro in the past a long time ago and is rusty with said game, thoroughly destroys Yuuki at his own game, massively irritating the kid. Kou ends the scene by saying he hurried both of them out after a while before Yuuki got his ass beaten both in the game and out of it.

    Chapter 2
  • After finishing his part time job at Yanagi Sports in 4/27, Kou can find Ryouta and Hekiru making a deal with him giving her ¥1000 for a list of first years. Turns out they’re all first year BOYS. The girls list is ¥3000.
  • Hiiragi's Defrosting Ice Queen temperament is still pretty cold at this point in the game, but her snarking at Kou's attempts to play The Hero while still adjusting to his newfound abilities is still pretty funny.
Asuka: Left to your own devices, I'm sure you'd just wander into another Eclipse and get eaten.
    Kou: Ugh....

    Side-story 2
  • Asuka takes Sora to Kuguraya Blacksmith to give her the same run-down she did Kou regarding the Eclipse. Immediately after, Sora decides she wishes to ask a question, though Asuka warns her that she can only give specific answers due to her inability to involve civilians. Sora however asks a question that stuns her for a moment....
Sora: (takes a breath) Asuka.......what exactly is going on between you and Kou!?
    Asuka: (Beat) .....??? .......Come again......?
Sora: I mean it was just so obvious, you two were perfectly in sync in that place!
  • Right after, Asuka asks Sora about her admiration for Kou that she's held onto for years as a result of their childhood friendship before teasing that maybe SHE'S the one with the crush....then this happens:
    Sora: I ain't cottonin to no-....T'ain't right to.....oopsy......
Asuka: ....where the heck did THAT come from.....!?
Sora: Um, my accent comes out when I'm excited...gosh this is so embarrassing....

    Side-story 4
  • Yuuki just cannot get a break from Sora. She nearly gives him a heart attack just from her giving a friendly "good morning" greeting, and later drags him into help her carry stuff.

    Chapter 6
  • The sidequest “Tsubasa's Day Off” has Kou finding out amidst family drama that the delinquent brat that hangs out at Arcade Oasis, Tsubasa, is a girl.

    Chapter 7
  • If Kou races against Mitsuki during the swimming quest, he'll mention that she has water resistance issues while looking at her chest, and then gets embarrassed for bringing it up.
  • If Kou chooses to race against Yuuki during the swimming quest, Yuuki, who is bored and playing video games on his Xiphone, refuses. So how does Kou convince him otherwise? Why, using Yuuki's Achilles' Heel of course: threaten to call his sister and tell her something has happened to make her rush to his aid. Yuuki PROMPTLY gets ready to swim.
  • One of Jun's bonding events has the pair hanging out at the shops in the Nanahoshi Mall. When checking out the Cosplay Store, Jun forces Kou into the Demon Prince Rean outfit. However, another bystander notices and suggests Jun dress up in the Magical Girl Alisa outfit and stand by him for a picture. Jun actually thinks this is a good idea, much to Kou's annoyance.
Jun: That sounds like a great idea.
    Kou: IT DOES!?!?!?!?!?!
  • Shiori asks Kou to stand in the shadows watching over her while she responds to another boy's love letter. While Kou is pondering this whole thing, he catches Shiori looking like she's about to cry, at which point he angrily rushes over to apprehend the boy and confront him. Shiori has to respond with a frustrated Ko-u-cha-n, to get him to calm down and listen: it turns out her tears were actually that result of something flying into her eyes. Kou's response can be summed up as such:
Oh...(realizes he just made a scene) Oh crap, I am so sorry!

    Final Chapter
  • Mikuriya claims to have to plan to help deal with the situation. Naturally after his stunts in Chapter 6, the party is hesitant but eventually relent. Nonetheless, Mitsuki decides to make things clear to him.
Mitsuki: But you best be careful, Mikuriya-san...(close-up to her angelic smile)...because there won't be another chance.
Mikuriya: (feebly trying to hide his terror) Oh come now, Mitsuki-san, you know I wouldn't do that.
(all party members get a Sweat Drop)
    Rion: S-scary...
Kou: Well, guess we can't blame Shio-sempai for being cautious around her.
  • When Jun mentions that as a Seal Knight, he is in some sense more inhuman than Nemesis's Enforcers, Ryouta tells him not to be stupid, and Kou agrees by saying that it's Ryouta that's supposed to be the dumbass of the group.

    After-Story
  • During the Free Event, you can ask your friends to help do the festival events faster. Highlights include:
    • Basically anyone you ask to be a back-up dancer with Morimaru (and wear wolf ears and tails at that).
    • Asking Yuuki to test the duck boat ride. When it gets stuck, his sister Aoi immediately calls out to him from the lake's edge, much to his embarrassment.
    • Asking Mitsuki to help deliver balloons and candy at the square. Kyouka is so taken aback by seeing her dress as a witch that she wants to take pictures.
    • Ryouta jumps at any event, but it's most apparent with the pumpkin carving one because he wants to get away from the slave-driving Chizuru.
  • Here's an example that can be invoked by the player. In the After Story, the final boss fight against the Twilight Apostle comes in four phases, with each phase representing a team of party members. You can select each party member for the teams you want, but should you decide to put Ryouta on the last team, then he'll have a hand in the last phase of the boss fight. It's entirely possible for you to finish off the Twilight Apostle as Ryouta alone. That's right. Ryouta; the most normal of the group who lacks his own Soul Device, delivering the final killing blow to the Twilight Apostle; a god-like Eldritch Abomination capable of manipulating and destroying reality. It is both absurdly funny and insanely awesome as it sounds.
