While this mod is pretty terrifying, it still manages to have some comedic moments.
- Even with the cutscenes being Played for Horror, Boyfriend is still only speaking in beeps. He even interrupts Smiler's depressing monologue with one before Sadness.
- The 2.0 update adds another silly moment with Smiler right after Sadness. After the song finishes, Smiler asks what the problem is with the duo for bothering him. Their response? Jojo pose on him
. (With the MENANCING effects to boot along with GF suddenly gaining an eyepatch!) Smiler can only stare at the two, before promptly justifying why the next song is called "Rage". - Speaking of beeps, near the end of the Exhalted backstory cutscene, the voice that could possibly be Exhalted asks for BF's thoughts on it, only for him to get a Beep! from him. The voice can only grumble that he still doesn't understand what the beeps mean.
- Despite normally being drenched in Nightmare Fuel, Legion can give a few silly-looking faces in cutscenes, most notably right after "Paedophobia".
- Though it gets less funny soon afterwards, right after Technophobia ends, Legion gets genuinely frustrated with BF's Determinator attitude. His facial expressions during this outright scream his displeasure.
- Legion also has a tendency to go on long, seemingly symbolic monologues. By the time "Dystichiphobia" is over, however, Boyfriend finally gets sick of it and bluntly tells Legion that [he doesn't care about his love of stories and just wants to get back to reality. Legion even complains about it for a moment before finally giving in.
Legion: You know... I love stories. I personally consider myself a real connoisseur. Unfortunately, those people took me out of my world... and didn't even give me a single book to read.
Boyfriend: I DON'T CARE - Once "Athazagoraphobia" is reached, Legion makes his drama-loving self just as clear in his movement as he does in his speech. A few of his animations during the song itself are surprisingly graceful, looking more like he's dancing than trying to claim Boyfriend's soul, and in the cutscene afterwards, he pulls a few poses that wouldn't look out of place in a ballet.
- JJ's dancing in "Paedophobia". It's how he starts off the song, the clones of him that appear in the background do it as well, and towards the end of the song, a larger Trollge wearing clown makeup gets in on the dancing as well.
- Trallface. Just... everything about him and his level is this, and fittingly his song is simply titled "Your Mom".
- Similarly, the fact that of all characters, Trallface is the one to use All Your Powers Combined in his song, something not even Legion was able to pull off.
- Legion's plan to become a god failed and Boyfriend is about to kill him. What are his last words? A Precision F-Strike.
