"[Lena] wasn't exaggerating when [she] said those were the hottest peppers in Louisiana."
WARNING: Spoilers are unmarked.- The opening scene where Scooby and Shaggy are being chased by the Moat Monster. They run through a set of Scooby-Dooby Doors while the Moat Monster just stands there instead of following after them like past criminals have done. Also, from the opening, the bowling ball sound effect when Scooby and Shaggy crash into each other and Scooby literally dropping in from above into the Moat Monster's hands right when he's about to attack Freddy.
- Scooby and Shaggy took jobs taking contraband at an airport solely to stockpile on free food. One day, their boss enters the contraband storage only to find Scooby and Shaggy have become massively fat and satisfied after gorging on it all.Airport Manager: Y-You... you ate all the contraband!
Scooby: [burps] Excuse me. [laughs]
Shaggy: Like, untrue, boss. We didn't eat it all. There's still a couple of gorgonzolas left. Help yourself.
Airport Manager: You're a couple of gorgonzolas! You're fired!- Scooby then laments that they're unemployed, and Shaggy fears they'll starve and turn to skin and bones... while they both gaze down at their bloated, obese bodies.
- Immediately after this, they get a call from Freddy. When he asks them if they're busy, Shaggy says he and Scooby were actually just thinking of taking some time off.
- When Scooby and Shaggy divide up an extra large Po'Boy sandwich, the latter hoovers up the former's half of it like a vacuum.
- Big Mona squirting water at Scooby.Shaggy: (laughs) Like, I guess that's one catfish who doesn't like dogs, ol' buddy!
- A rather twisted example which takes place after Jacques turns into a cat monster:Jacques: Goin' somewhere? [lifts Shaggy and Scooby off the ground] What's the matter, cat got your tongue? Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
- Another dark example when Scooby and Shaggy encounter two zombies of what clearly used to be pretty-looking girls:Shaggy: We're not looking for ghoul-friends, are we, Scoob?
Scooby: Ruh-uh. - After Daphne and Velma make voodoo dolls of Simone and Lena in cat creature mode, Daphne makes Simone shove Lena to the floor. Lena just looks at Simone as if she's saying "What the fuck, man?" and Simone just apologetically shrugs.
- "You're not just a skeptic, Fred. You're in denial!" Daphne, when Fred desperately tries to deny the reality of the island's zombies.
- During the "It's Terror Time Again" sequence, Scooby ends up floundering in quicksand, and Shaggy grabs a snake, thinking it's a rope, only to have to toss it away. Then, one of the zombies actually taps him on the shoulder and hands him a vine, which Shaggy takes before realizing who gave it to him! This foreshadows the true nature of the zombies.
- The Running Gag of Scooby chasing Simone's cats. It becomes even funnier when you realize that Scooby has never displayed this habit before, and it's the first time he's shown acting like an actual dog.
- At one point when Scooby is being chased by Mojo the hunting pig (after he'd gone off chasing the cats and ruined Scruggs' fishing), an amused Shaggy asks him if he's running away from the cats before turning around and seeing the pig bearing down on them.
- Shaggy begging on his knees for Scooby snacks just like Scooby. And the Scooby Snacks being stale.
- Shaggy and Scooby playing with the voodoo dolls and accidentally knocking around the rest of the gang in the process.
- Fred comments that Lena is cute, then tries to backtrack for Daphne's sake by saying he just meant she would be telegenic for the show.
- This exchange:Shaggy: Ghost pirates! Ghost soldiers! What's next?
Lena: Dinner!
[Suddenly Shaggy and Scooby look a lot less unhappy and worried] - When they're deciding to split up and Fred gets jealous of Daphne's crush on Beau.Daphne: I think we should split up.
Fred: Good idea.
Daphne: I'll go with Beau.
Fred: Bad idea. - At the end, Snakebite has just managed to get Big Mona the catfish in his net- only to be distracted by Scooby flying through the air, and Big Mona hops out back into the water.
