Funny / Lucky Luke: Ballad of the Daltons

• The Daltons dig a tunnel to escape from prison... and end up in the dynamite storage shack as pointed out by Averell, where the latter stupidly strikes a match, and of course it goes boom.
  • The prison's guards and the warden give an eulogy to Rantanplan thinking he died in the dynamite storage shack's explosion. They speak of him as if he'd been smarter and more heroic than he actually is.
• The Daltons do it again while looking for the dropped fuse when trying to blow up Collins' prison.
• The Daltons almost shitting their pants during the Rollercoaster Mine sequence.
  • Averell eating cotton candy at some point during this sequence. No word on where it came from.
• Rantanplan taking a fifth ace from a cheater's boot during a card game at the saloon where Sam Game used to go and happily popping his head to the players with the card in his teeth.
  Card Player: What the hell is this ace?!
  Other Card Player: In any case, that's the fifth in the game...
  (shootout and Bar Brawl ensue)
• Averell's response to the Desert of Thirst?
  "Woulda been worse if it'd been the Desert of Hunger."
• Throughout the movie, Rantanplan, the quintessential example of Dogs Are Dumb, is convinced that the Daltons stole the jail (they actually blew it up while attempting to dig their way out), so he follows them around intending to capture them. When they reach the Desert of Thirst, this is what he has to say:
  "It's gettin' worse, now somebody's stolen the scenery!"
