  • Daltanious' attacks make use of Gratuitous English, which results in names like "Hand Slicer" and "Chain Dryer".
  • One of the attacks is called "Pulse Guided Missile". Think about that for a minute.
  • History buffs may have to hold in their laughter upon seeing Daltanious being studded all over with what appears to be the Templar Cross. Even the Transformation Sequence features it prominently!
  • Kento telling Earl it's a good thing the Zaal Empire invaded because that means he doesn't have to go to school anymore. It's a wonder Earl somehow managed to make it to the end of the series putting up with things like this without becoming The Alcoholic.
  • Sanae's relentless pacifism unintentionally comes off as this, such as her refusing to prosecute some criminals who stole her kimono and offering herself as a target for Danji's rage.
Sanae: "I hate seeing you like this, Danji. If you must hit anyone out of your anger, hit me!"
  • Kloppen is said to be a feared military general across the galaxy but it's hard not to burst out laughing whenever he appears on screen because of his Narm-y costume. His bright orange armour with a large head covering looks ridiculous, and the fact that it's modelled after a lion invokes the image of a fursuit.
  • When Kloppen takes his mask off to reveal himself to Harlin, his hair is coiled on each side. He looks goofy, even as he's threatening his life.
  • General Neshia (disguised as Midori) brings food to the kids...stuffed with drugs. That's right, she fed a bunch of kids drugs.
  • In the same episode, when Earl says that Kento shouldn't care about Ochame because she's an ordinary human, he's so angry he stops eating his apple and throws it at Earl's face. He then yells at Earl for his classism and tells him not to call him Prince Kento again.
  • Try not to laugh at Kento calling out SIGMA BEAM!.
  • There's also the fact that Daltanious relies on "sigma energy", which takes on a whole new meaning post-2021.
  • When Catine calls Sanae a "servant girl", Sanae gets mad and says she isn't a servant girl...despite the fact that her hobby is cooking and cleaning for the Adalus base.
  • Catine actually had a chance with Kento when she met him for the first time, the boy thinking to himself that she was beautiful when he saw her. However, her obsessive behaviour, need to control him and narcissism was so severe that it eventually drove him away and turned him off from dating her.
  • Imagine if Erika was an Abhorrent Admirer to Kazuya, and Margarete encouraged her terrible behaviour. The results are Catine and Judela.
  • After Catine finds out that Kento is a clone, she becomes so angry she starts dropping a whole string of curse words in one breath. Judela is so shocked that she turns bright red in both her cheeks.
  • Catine's Alpha Bitch tendencies make Kento's friends hate her, and her leaving leads to And There Was Much Rejoicing.
  • Okuma views Kento as his Sitcom Archnemesis because Kento and his gang regularly steal from him, which results in them enacting mob justice on the kids quite a few times. However, when Kento introduces him to his dad, he tells him that Okuma is the man that has been "taking care of him while he was gone". Even Okuma looks at him in disbelief, but goes along with it and awkwardly shakes Hayato Tate/Prince Harlin's hand.
  • Once the Zaal find out Kloppen is a clone, they abandon him and offer him to the Adalus Base as a gift. Kloppen is humiliated and beat down as he's turned into a hostage, while his comrades, who were shown to be obedient to a T, openly disparage him and laugh at him.
