- GaoGaiGar: The titular robot was heavily inspired by Daltanious, as both robots have a lion motif and sharing a similar color-scheme. Also, Galeon is clearly based on Beralios as both are sentient robot lions and integral to the plot of both series.
- One Piece: In SBS One Piece volume 99, Eichiro Oda revealed that his favourite Smile Fruit Devil user, Holed'em
, was based on Daltanious. He watched Daltanious as a kid and thought the robot looked really cool, so he paid homage to it through his design.
- Choujuu Sentai Liveman: Choujuu Gattai Liverobo's design is based on Daltanious, as both are three-piece Combining Mecha that utilize a lion as the robot's torso.
- Voltes V: Legacy: Helios was mentioned when Emperor Zambojil learns that Hrothgar didn't go to that planet after fleeing Boazan and seeking refuge. He ordered an invasion on Helios anyway.
- The Emperor Zul in Super Robot Wars Destiny is a combination of Emperor Zul from God Mars (has his appearance, personality and empire), Emperor Dolmen from Daltanious (because of the Kloppen cloning plot) and King Vega from UFO Robo Grendizer (he led the attack that destroyed Planet Fleed).
