Tere Naam (In Your Name) is a 2003 Bollywood film starring Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla. It is a remake of the 1999 Kollywood film Sethu.

Radhe Mohan, played by Salman Khan, is a violent short tempered youngster who lives with his brother and his family. He often uses violence as a way to deal with people and hangs out with his group of friends along with a beggar. One day, Radhe meets Nirjara Bharadwaj, played by Bhumika Chawla, and falls in love with her due to her innocence and simplicity. However, when Radhe proposes his love to Nirjara, she rejects him due to his delinquency and despite his many efforts, she refuses to talk to him. Eventually Radhe kidnaps her and forces her to fall in love with him.

However, tragedy strikes shortly after as Radhe is attacked by a brothel gang who take revenge on him for busting their prostitute racket. Radhe suffers from brain damage due to the attack and eventually ends up in an ashram asylum where it’s said that the practices and effects will help him recover. Eventually Radhe fully recovers, but is unable to convey this to the ashram wardens and the guru. Now Radhe must find a way to escape the imprisonment he finds himself in while also reuniting with Nirjara.
