Star Wars:Origins is a 2019 Star Wars Fan Film with a unique twist. The story does not take place in the Galaxy Far Far Away but in a familiar locale we like to call Earth.
The Fan Film contains the following tropes:
- Action Girl: Ellie does her best in avoiding Saif and his men and is the one responsible in killing the leader.
- Based on a True Story: In-Universe. The paintings scattered across the temple/Star Destroyer implies that all the movies, Episode 1 to Episode 9 are based on actual events.
- Battle Couple: Walter and Ellie Lucas
- Bitter Sweet Ending: Walter saves his wife and drives off the Nazis but he is trapped inside the Star Destroyer which takes off to places unknown. However, he does have one last goodbye to Ellie and their unborn child, George.
- Call-Back: In-Universe. The paintings Walter discovers details all of Star War's most important events.
- Canon Character All Along: The Archaeologists turn out to be the parents of George Lucas.
- Defiant to the End: Rather than be intimidated by the Big Bad, Ellie spits right in the man's face.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: It was just a second but Ellie uses what appears to be the Force to grab hold of the lightsaber.
- Karmic Death: Ellie uses the lightsaber to kill Saif right in the gut, the same way the latter murdered his uncle.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Saif's men bolt it when the Nazis arrived.
- That's No Moon: As the evidences begins to pile up, it becomes clear to Walter that this temple is actually a ship, more specifically an Imperial Star Destroyer.
