Witch 10, the Master of the Omnitrix
is a Ben 10 and The Owl House crossover story by Demon_dark_mezzo_sangue.
Diverging from Owl House canon after the events of The Intruder, the story begins with Vilgax planning to shoot down the ship with the Omnitrix. At the same time, Eda has taken Luz camping in an attempt to get closer to the girl, leaving the human in the perfect place to become the bearer of the Omnitrix.
This fanfic provides examples of:
- Amphibian at Large: Animo uses his piece of alien tech to help him mutate a demon frog to gigantic size.
- Alternate Universe: Azmuth didn't make the Omnitrix here. Instead, it's the creation of an unknown inventor who designed it as a weapon.
- Composite Character: Luz takes up Ben's role as the bearer of the Omnitrix in this universe.
- Doom Magnet: Luz's natural tendency to attract trouble and disaster is made even worse by having the Omnitrix. Case in point, right after the narration pointing this out, Luz sees a fire in an apartment building and feels the need to help, much to Eda's annoyance.
- Fusion Fic: This story has Vilgax and a version of the Omnitrix native to the greater universe of the Boiling Isles, the latter of which ends up picked up by Luz.
- Green-Skinned Space Babe: Lampshaded in the narration as something space is unfortunately lacking.
- How Do I Shot Web?: Luz doesn't immediately know how to use her new abilities effectively. For example, when she becomes XLR 8 she quickly finds that she can't stop.
- Imported Alien Phlebotinum: When Vilgax shoots down the ship with the Omnitrix, its other cargo becomes scattered across the Boiling Isles.
- Instant Expert: In contrast to Luz's How Do I Shot Web? issues, Doctor Animo manages to fully understand the piece of alien technology he found and devise ways of using it to his advantage.
- Lemony Narrator: The narration delves into this sometimes, like mentioning how there's a sad lack of Green-Skinned Space Babe-type aliens in space.
