How Far We Have Fallen

"The year is 2021 and Lex Luthor was elected president. The team has gone into hiding after coming under public scrutiny when a failed mission against the Joker occurred. Now, Lex Luthor has vowed to have new heroes take up the Young Justice League's job, heroes that are dedicated to protecting the innocent at all costs. Little do these "Heroes" know, they are being manipulated...
Lex is secretly training superpowered teens under the false image that they will become heroes, when they're really only going to be carrying out his evil bidding. Most people are oblivious to their presidents evil schemes. But not all. A rebellion has risen in America to overthrow their president, and it all starts at Luthor's Academy for the Gifted."
The Story features a cast of fan-made characters as they live their lives as students in Luthor's Academy.

- Academy of Adventure: The whole point of the School is to teach superpowered kids to the point that the Alpha Team even carries out missions.
- Action Girl: Most of the female half of the cast, and even the few that aren't strictly so still get their own badass moments.
- Always in Class One: Justified in that Team Alpha members were chosen as part of that team due to their own abilities and merits in the initial test.
- Badass in Distress: Roman and Carla when kidnapped by the Light of justice.
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: For some reason Havard still hasn't been fired despite his drinking problem and the fact that he indulges in it even in front of students.
- Extranormal Institute: All students shown thus far are known to have a superpower or at least peak/above human abilities in an area as is the case for Avi and Ana.
- Poison and Cure Gambit: The Light of Justice tries this with Roman and Carla
- Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: Team Alpha can be considered this.
- Recruit Teenagers with Attitude: Luthor's solution to the League and Team going into hiding.
- Weirdness Magnet: Contrary to what you would believe most of the conflicts faced by the cast come from outside the school, although they seem to be brought on by it.
