- Oh, Crap!: The robots shudder when Mei notices and starts abducting them for her experiments. It gets bad enough that they have to beg Izuku to rein her in.
- Public Secret Message: When he faces Stain to stop him from killing Iida and Native, Izuku manages to tell Shouto where he is while disguising it as part of his conversation with the Hero Killer.
- Related in the Adaptation: Inko is Nana's daughter and Tomura's aunt and Izuku is Nana's grandson and Tomura's cousin.

- Izuku's ability to woo anyone without realizing it, much to Recovery Girl's chagrin.
- Izuku pulling out notebooks from nowhere.
- Izuku going out to do some menial task and somehow ending up in the middle of a villain attack. Inko points out that this never happens to her, Himiko or Rei.
- Shipper on Deck: Recovery Girl supports her grand-niece Setsuna in her quest to date Izuku.
- Sitcom Archnemesis: The U.A. robots hate Izuku because he snitched on their plots to overthrow Nezu. Which Izuku only blurted out to distract the teachers from Setsuna having a Heroic BSoD.
- You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Recovery Girl does this every time Izuku woos someone instantly without even realizing it. It's a Running Gag by this point.
