Warlock: Rebirth is a 2023 comic book limited series from Marvel Comics. It's written by Ron Marz, with art by Ron Lim and Don Ho, and color art by Romulo Fajardo Jr.

Set in the shared Marvel Universe, the series is an Interquel starring Adam Warlock and some of his Infinity Watch colleagues, set at a time when they were safeguarding the powerful Infinity Gems. It also serves as a sequel to Silver Surfer: Rebirth, another interquel series, with Genis-Vell, the hero known as Legacy, seeking out Warlock for information.

They're swiftly caught up in adventures, though, with the abrupt appearance of Eve Warlock, a powerful woman who claims to be Adam's Superior Successor.

Warlock: Rebirth contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Curb-Stomp Battle: When Legacy first arrives on Monster Island he clashes with Goom, who floors him with one punch and then literally stomps on him. It doesn't seem to be anything personal, Goom just felt like a fight.
  • Interquel: The series is set in "The past...", at a point when the Infinity Watch was still assembled, and before Legacy became Captain Marvel. It's not more specific about exactly when events happen.
  • Punch Catch: In the first issue, Eve effortlessly catches a punch from Gamora - and then uses it to swing her into a wall.
  • Put on a Bus: Infinity Watch members Drax and Moondragon are "off somewhere" according to Gamora, keeping the core cast relatively small.
  • Speech Bubbles: Like Adam Warlock himself, Eve gets distinctive speech bubbles. The tails and borders are golden, with a jagged lightning bolt style to the tails.
  • Superior Successor: Eve sees herself as Adam's successor, claiming that he's a failure and she was created to replace him.
  • Variant Cover: The first issue has two variant covers. One shows Warlock, Pip and Gamora standing on a rocky 'landscape' that's actually a Kaiju's cheek, with a Giant Eye of Doom behind them. The other shows comedy character Howard the Duck triumphant, wielding the Infinity Gauntlet as he stands over a prone Warlock.
