Trish Trash: Rollergirl Of Mars is a Science Fiction Comic Book by Jessica Abel.

Trish "Trash" Nupindju is a young girl living on Mars in the future with her parents as a moisture farmer. However, her passion lies in hover derby, and she is determined to become a roller girl.

One day, instead of going to school, Trish sneaks over to a roller derby tryout, but is ultimately rejected for being too young.note  However, the officials take notice of her engineering abilities and sign her on as a mechanic for a year.

Also, a Martian has appeared on Trish's front door, and Trish decides to nurse her back to health instead of killing or reporting her. This action soon sets off a chain of events that could change EVERYTHING.

The book was published on January 30th, 2015.

Trish Trash: Rollergirl Of Mars contains examples of:

  • Alien Sky: The sky in the comic is shown in shades of either light brown or yellow, or yellow beneath light brown. This is because the comic's set on Mars.
  • Fantastic Slurs: Due to their insectoid appearance, humans often refer to martians as "bugs".
  • Flying Car: Vehicles on Mars have semi-circular hover devices in place of their wheels.
  • Martians: Qiqi and her people are the native species of Mars. They usually have four arms, but lose the lower two whenever they shed their skin. They also have a type of plant that produces water, which could revolutionize how water is farmed for the humans.
  • MegaCorp: Arex Corporation. Starting out as a Transportation Company that oversaw people migrating to Mars amidst all the political turmoil up to and including "The Meltdown", it quickly became the company that oversaw all the Martian colonies.
  • Punny Name: The hover girls all seem to have this naming convention. Some examples include Dead Lass, Neeta Victim, and Anya Knees.
  • Shout-Out: One of the most famous rollergirls is named Hanna Barbarian.
  • Skipping School: Trish skips out on going to school to try out for a hover derby team. Her friend isn't happy, because there's a test that day that's worth a third of their final grade.
  • Tricked-Out Shoes: Hover shoes, which hover derby players wear in the game.
  • Worldbuilding: The end of the first two books contain a fake Wiki page detailing the history of the book's universe.
