Resolved Cliffhangers:

  • All Fall Down: Chapters 3, 4 and 5 all end this way.
    • In Chapter 3, Siphon is placed under arrest for the super-manslaughter of 642 people.
    • In Chapter 4, the last thing we see is Portia stepping off a high-rise roof, followed by a Black Screen of Death.
    • In Chapter 5, we see Pronto, Brainwashed and Crazy, about to be unleashed on his unsuspecting friends.
  • My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (IDW): The first part of "Convocation of the Creatures" ends with the discovery that the ponies bought a section of land — including where Canterlot was built — from the griffons during ancient times. According to the treaty, the land would be returned to the griffons unless the ponies paid a large sum of gold one hundred years later. However, upon further search of the archives, no record exists of the rulers of Equestria ever paying that gold. Twilight worryingly realizes that a large section of Equestria, including all of Canterlot, legally belongs to the griffons.
  • Spirou & Fantasio: Kodo le Tyran (Kodo the Tyrant) and La Frousse aux trousses (Running Scared) both end in cliffhangers. In the first, a group of rebels is going to blow up a bridge Fantasio is headed to, thinking he's the titular dictator's top henchman, and Spirou realises they got the wrong man too late. In the second, the pair are caught by a furious river and left for dead by their companions. The follow-ups, Des haricots partout (Beans Everywhere) and La Vallee des Banis (Valley of the Exiles), respectively, start right afterwards, with the heroes surviving both events.

Unresolved Cliffhangers:

  • Star Wars: Invasion: The comic was Cut Short midway through its story, and as as such the last issue ends with a number of plot threads — such as precisely what's going on with the Galfridian siblings, Finn's reaction to his stepmother being a Vong, Kaye and Nina's damaged relationship, and the Vong's secret weapon — left open and dangling.
