Characters for My Wife is a High School Girl
Asami Onohara
- Voiced by Ayako Kawasumi
- All Women Are Lustful: Early on, she tries on numerous occasions to get Kyousuke to have sex with her. She succeeds in later parts of the manga.
- Cool Big Sis: To Sasuke. She's somewhat tolerant of his Dirty Kid antics.
- Does Not Like Men: A bonus story in the manga reveals that Asami used to be this before meeting Kyousuke. Justified as she was fully figured even at fourteen-fifteen which caused her to receive a lot of unwanted attention.
- Dude Magnet: Asami attracts not just her husband, but a good number of guys too. One of those boys is even bold enough to declare his love for her.
- Jail Bait Wait: While officially married, she can't get it on with Kyosuke due to still being a student and teacher respectively. Plus, there's the promise her father had they agree to, not to have sex until she graduates high school. Asami has no intention waiting until graduation to consummate their marriage. The manga ends with them deciding to finally breech the contract.
- Kind Hearted Cat Lover: In the anime, Asami adopts a stray kitten she names Kuri.
- Maiden Name Debate: Invoked, she has to go by her maiden surname to keep the fact she's married secret.
- Ms. Fanservice: Biggest one in the series, despite being a high school girl.
- Oblivious to Love: Because she has eyes for only one man, Asami doesn't seem to register that other guys might have a thing for her. With the exception of a boy named Toru Yano, who makes it clear that he likes her.
- Single-Target Sexuality: Asami is primarily focused on her husband. The manga reveals that this is due to Because You Were Nice to Me back when Kyousuke was just her home tutor.
- Teacher/Student Romance: It's a mutual attraction example. A bonus story reveals that this attraction actually happened back when Kyousuke was just a home tutor for Asami and they were wed before they became student and teacher.
Kyousuke Ichimaru
- Voiced by Mitsuaki Madono
- Can't Hold His Liquor: He gets drunks easily. This bites him in the ass majorly when Iwasaki takes advantage of his drunken state in order to get him to sleep with her.
- Chick Magnet: Despite his plain looks, Kyousuke has women, including his young wife, pinning for him.
- Jail Bait Wait: Fully intends to commit to the agreement he made with Asami's father, regarding their marriage. Of course, it doesn't take long to change his mind.
- Nice Guy: What attracts Asami and later Iwasaki.
- Single-Target Sexuality: Very much Asami-sexual. In fact, she's the only one he'll get a boner for.
- Teacher/Student Romance: Mutual attraction.
Sakura Mizunosaki
- Voiced by Mayumi Asano
- Cool Big Sis: Becomes this to Asami after learning of her relationship with Kyousuke.
- Hooker with a Heart of Gold: She's a prostitute, but also nice person.
Iwasaki-sensei
- Voiced by Mayumi Yanagisawa
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Not very noticeable initially, but in later parts of the manga she shows signs of it. Like consistently trying to seduce Ichimaru even when knowing he's in a relationship. Once she learns that Asami is living in the same house as Ichimaru's house, she blackmails her into staying away from him, lest she reveal their relationship. Of course, she still doesn't know Asami and Kyousuke are married.
