    The Protagonist
The main character. She is a bespectacled girl who lives with her father and sister.
  • Bespectacled Cutie: Wears glasses and is rather cute.
  • Cain and Abel: The Abel to her step-sister, who wrote in her diary that she wanted her out of the house.
  • Dead All Along: The man waiting at the front door is implied by the bonus files to be the grim reaper, and she apologizes for keeping him waiting, implying she is being taken to the afterlife. It is also hinted through symbolism that she hanged herself.
  • Driven to Suicide: Ambiguously implied through symbolism; in order to exit the building, she needs to put a doll head next to a rope that looks suspiciously like a noose, implying she hanged herself.
  • Self-Made Orphan: It is implied that either she or her sister killed their father by sticking sleeping pills in his liquor, as the heroine has to stick sleeping pills in his liquor bottle and then slash a picture with his face on it to escape.

    The Sister
The heroine's younger step-sister.
  • Antagonistic Offspring: She hated her new stepfather, according to his diary.
  • Cain and Abel: She wrote in her diary that she hated her sister and wanted to get rid of her.
    Feb. 24th
After my mother got married to new father, fucking 'my elder sister' joined our family. How can I kick out that damned girl?
    Mar. 5th
She cherishes a keepsake from her mother. That's very funny.
    Mar. 22nd
Although I continued to bother her, she didn't give up. She's so tenacious.
    Mar. 28th
I came up with some good idea to throw her out.
  • The Ghost: Assuming she is not the red-skinned woman, she never physically appears- we only read her diary.
  • Self-Made Orphan: It is implied that either she or her sister killed their father by sticking sleeping pills in his liquor, as the heroine has to stick sleeping pills in his liquor bottle and then slash a picture with his face on it to escape.
  • Two Aliases, One Character: It is implied that she is the red-skinned woman; immediately after reading her diary, where she says that she came up with an unspecified plan to throw her sister out of the house, the red-skinned woman appears in the window and tries to kill the heroine.

    The Father
The heroine's father.
  • The Ghost: We only see his diary and a picture of his face.

    The Red-Skinned Woman
A mysterious woman who wants to kill the heroine.
  • Big Bad: She is the one trying to kill the heroine who wants to escape from the house.
  • Enter Stage Window: Her first appearance, aside from the Mirror Scare, is entering the window of the sister's room to chase the protagonist.
  • Nightmare Face: She has black eyes with small irises and a wide smile with no visible teeth.
  • No Name Given: She is never named.
  • Two Aliases, One Character: It is implied that she is the heroine's sister; immediately after reading her diary, where she says that she came up with an unspecified plan to throw her sister out of the house, the red-skinned woman appears in the window and tries to kill the heroine.

    The Man Outside

The Grim Reaper

I have kept waiting for you.

The mysterious man waiting outside the front door for the heroine.

  • Grim Reaper: The picture depicting him in the bonus files is titled Grim Reaper, implying he is this and has come to take the heroine away to the afterlife.
