    Haejoon Goh
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tvt_hjpng.png
A glum and hardworking student who recently moved into his high school’s dilapidated dorm. He eventually inherited his mother’s ability to see ghosts.
  • Berserk Button: Never talk bad of his mother. He might have his own personal problems with his mother's ghost sight and their lifestyle, but he still loves her enough to hate when others mock her for it.
  • Loser Son of Loser Dad: His mother was well known for her seeing spirits, but no one was sympathetic. Children often bullied Haejoon for being her son, wondering if he'll turn out to be as odd as her.
  • Neat Freak: Very quickly develops a need for order in his new living space. It's one of the things he was taught by his mother, as she told him of the joys of having a clean home to come back to. In fact, during his and Eunyung's introductory arcs, he even singlehandedly cleaned the dorm in his spare time!
  • New Transfer Student: Haejoon transfers to the setting's high school in his second year.
  • Parting-Words Regret: The day his mother died was also the day he had his first big fight with her. After she finds out that he plans on moving into a dorm for his second year of high school, he finally tells her off for her ghost obsession and admits that he didn't want to live with her anymore. He ran off shortly after that, but the next time he turned around, he saw his mom laid out on the street hit by a car.
  • Protective Charm: His mother gave him an omamori when he was a kid that he keeps with him to this very day. As it turns out, that charm has a picture of one of his old house's protective ghosts, Miyung.
  • Red Baron: Known as the "Mad Dog" for his unruly temper outside of school and around his home town.

    Eunyung Baek
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tvt_ey.png
A troubled but handsome freshman who has a knack for pissing people off. Frequently gets involved into fights and get-rich-quick schemes. Haejoon’s dormmate.
  • Cuckoo Finger Twirl: In Haejoon's arc, Eunyung does this when he talks smack about the former's mother, calling her (and him) crazy for seeing ghosts.
  • Gender-Blender Name: Implied, given Haejoon balks at the thought of a girl stealing his wallet once he learns Eunyung's name.
  • Pretty Boy: He's considered one of the more handsome characters in the series, and his features lean towards the feminine side of the beauty scale. He has longer hair than a majority of the male cast, wears hair baubles to pin back his locs, and wears quite a bit of pink.

    Juwan Park
A nerdy but sociable student. Haejoon and Eunyung’s dormmate.
  • Always Second Best: His older brother, Juyang, seems to be his parents' favorite son. Where Juyang has a decent career, is considered handsome, and is fairly popular, Juwan is an average student at best. The boy constantly gets compared to him.
  • Hypocrite: If there's one thing Juwan won't budge on, it's his need for privacy, his dislike of others barging into his room without permission, and wanting others to tell him their intentions. He briefly ignores these pet peeves when he goes through Eunyung's room to look for his missing things. Admittedly this was on Haejoon's insistence, but still.
  • Misery Poker: Compared to Haejoon losing his mother immediately before starting school, and Eunyung's apparent homelessness, Juwan's problems with his mother seem almost idyllic in comparison. Played with in that it's because it's not "as bad" that Euyung starts picking on Juwan.
  • My Beloved Smother: He loves his mom, but years of her going through his private diaries and sneaking into his room without his permission has embittered him to her. Juwan does understand that she has a lonely life at home, but the guilt of knowing that mixed with his growing frustrations with her invading his privacy only made it harder for him to want to have a proper conversation with her.

    Marie Kim
The cunning and headstrong president of the journalism club.

    Minju Gong
The popular but spoiled president of the broadcasting club.

    Hara Kang
An energetic and determined girl who is the star of Hanseol High’s judo team.

Others

    Miyung
The ghost of a woman who lived in Haejoon's old house. She's terrifying, but she does her best to look out for Haejoon.
  • Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: She watched Haejoon every night like a hawk, always looks inhuman, and can't help but scare him. However, all she was doing was making sure Haejoon was safe and nightmare-free, something Haejoon's mother understood since she could see her.
  • Stringy-Haired Ghost Girl: Her default appearance. Unlike her counterparts, though, she lacks the taste for vengeance and acts more like a Guardian Entity for Haejoon.
