    Toru Yajima 
Voiced by: Ryouta Oosaka (Rinne Saisei)
The main protagonist. A college student invited by his crush, Mari, to her uncle's ski lodge. Named Max in the localization.

    Mari Kobayashi 
Voiced by: Satomi Akesaka (Rinne Saisei)
The main heroine and love interest. A sporty girl who invites Toru an a trip to her uncle's ski lodge. Named Grace in the localization.
  • Action Girl: Can single-handedly take down Mikimoto when he attempts to hold her hostage.
  • Death by Falling Over: Killed this way when Toru mistakes the sound of her coming up the stairs as being the murderer instead, pushing her right as she reaches the top of the stairs.

    Jiro Kobayashi 
Voiced by: Ken'ichirou Matsuda (Rinne Saisei)
Mari's uncle and the owner and chef of Spur Lodge. Named William "Bill" Forrest in the localization.

    Kyoko Kobayashi 
Voiced by: Noriko Rikimaru (Rinne Saisei)
Mari's aunt and Mr. Kobayashi's wife. Named Colleen Forrest in the localization.

    Kanako Watase 
Voiced by: Minami Takahashi (Rinne Saisei)
One of the three office ladies on a group trip. Named Tiffany Oakley in the localization.

    Aki Kawamura 
Voiced by: Ayano Yamamoto (Rinne Saisei)
One of the three office ladies on a group trip. Named Molly Starks in the localization.

    Keiko Kitano 
Voiced by: Mariko Honda (Rinne Saisei)
One of the three office ladies on a group trip, and the one who chose Spur Lodge for their vacation. Named Debbie Mason in the localization.
  • Big Eater: Books the trip to Spur Lodge due to the repuation of its food. Is also seen eating a bag of chips in her first scene.

    Toshio Kubota 
Voiced by: Kentarou Itou (Rinne Saisei)
A part-time worker at Spur Lodge. Named Bobby Trottier in the localization.
  • Driven to Suicide: In the ending where Mikimoto is only caught after Midori's death, Toshio uses Mikimoto's gun to end his life so he can be with her.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Once Midori dies, though he tries to keep some level of calm to try and stop the killer, he will immediately slip into this when someone makes an accusation or claim to the murders.

    Midori Shinozaki 
Voiced by: Eri Sendai (Rinne Saisei)
A part-time worker at Spur Lodge. Named Abby McCarthy in the localization.
  • He Knows Too Much: Figures out early on that Mikimoto and 'Mr. Tanaka' are the same person, leading Mikimoto to kill her for this reason.

    Seiichi Kayama 
Voiced by: Youji Ueda (Rinne Saisei)
One of the guests at the lodge, an older man from Osaka. Named Chase Buchanan in the localization.
  • The Idiot from Osaka: Though not exactly an idiot, he embodies the other elements of the trope to a T.

    Haruko Kayama 
Voiced by: Yuu Asakawa (Rinne Saisei)
One of the guests at the lodge, the younger wife of Mr. Kayama. Named Amber Buchanan in the localization.

    Yosuke Mikimoto 
Voiced by: Hiroshi Shirokuma (Rinne Saisei)
A guest to the lodge who arrives much later in the evening. Named Jonas Faberge in the localization.
  • Dead Person Impersonation: Pretends to be "Mr. Tanaka" when he first arrives to fake a time of death for the body he carried in with him.
  • Leave No Survivors: Likely the reason why he tries (and often succeeds) in killing everyone in the Lodge.
  • Mountain Man: Described as such by the cast. The look disappears when his fake beard is ripped off.

     Ichirou Tanaka 
A mysterious guest staying at the lodge. Named Mr. Jones in the localization.


  • Dead All Along: The dead body found in the room was someone killed before the story began.
  • Mr. Smith: Is only known by a generic title he signed into the Lodge with. In the Main Mystery route, it is an alias used by Mikimoto as a generic name in his plan to evade suspicion when pretending to be him. In 'A Novel', his true identity is a yakuza named Eiji Kuroki. May or may not be his real name in any routes where his identity is unimportant to the plot.
