One of the strengths of the Animated Adaptation on Netflix is the soundtrack, which is varied, intense, and always suits the mood of what's happening in the story.

  • The utterly hardcore opening for the anime, "King & Ashley" by MY FIRST STORY, sets up the intensity off this story presents.
  • Not many would except a Trap song for an Anime ending, but many actually welcome BAD HOP - Born This Way. For those who happen look up the translation for the lyrics, they're quite fitting for the corporate underground fighting tournament.
  • For the long-awaited second season, SiM went all out with "RED", which sets the hype for the episodes containing some of the most intense fights in the Kengan series.
  • Other than Murobuchi, the anime gifts each fighter with their own themes for when Sayaka announces their entry into the arena.
    • Cosmo Imai - "Falling down" by Sho from MY FIRST STORY is short, but evokes a sense of determination and promise that makes you want to root for the grappler.
    • Adam Dudley - "Make Me Crazy" by Undead Corporation truly raises the hype for the foul mouthed, former hockey player.
    • Raian Kure - "In Your Face" by Pablo. The title describes Raian's attitude perfectly. While the song only lasts a minute and a half, its intensity and metal vocals are enough to spell out what kind of dread you're in for against the Kure clan's Devil.
    • Ohma Tokita - "The Animal Fighter" by Fujisawa Kenji for the Ashura himself. This theme makes you want to go out and fight as much as Ohma, and cements him as a contender everybody should watch out for.
    • Takeshi Wakatsuki - "RIDE ON" by SAISEIGA is a hardcore rock track with a bit of screaming vocals mixed in that's a fitting theme for the superhuman's ferocity in the Kengan matches, despite his nervousness before each fight.
    • Keizaburo Sawada - "BATTLE OF GUILD" by FROZEN CAKE BAR. A combination of cutesy vocals that represents Sawada's effeminate looks, and screaming metal for his vicious temper.
    • Julius Reinhold - "Future" by SIRENT SCREEM. Perfect for a workout. Now you too can gain muscles like the monster himself with this blood pumping theme.
    • Muteba Gizenga - "Axis of Hate" by Devil Within is an intense metal banger that paints a mental image for what the Genocider’s day at the job is like.
    • Jun Sekibayashi - "Dark Angel" by Funta7. The Dark Angel comes in with a theme befitting of a pro wrestling star, complete with triumphant fanfare.
    • Masami Nezu/"Mockey" - "It's All Over" by NEPHILIM captures the melancholy of the former biker boss trying to save his childhood amusement park.
    • Rei Mikazuchi - "MEGABULLETS feat.NANA" by Fate Gear is a metal song that's as powerful and fast paced as the Lightning God himself.
    • Setsuna Kiryu - "Beautiful Beast" by Takanashi Yasuharu is an orchestral metal piece with an ominous and foreboding tone, which suits its namesake.
    • Gensai Kuroki - "Knock Me Down" by KATAMALI. Suiting for a motor company to have a rock song for its fighter. As for Gensai himself, the title and the lyrics are a Bring It issued to any of the tournaments’ fighters who have the misfortune of getting matched up against the unstoppable beard god.
    • Takayuki Chiba - "The Moment" by BRIDEAR. Chiba sadly gets less than 26 seconds for his actual moment, but this song is makes up for it.
    • Yohei Bando - "Here It Comes-OGRE" by K-A-Z starts with a steady guitar riff; once the drums roll, the song descends into a chaotic thrash metal piece that captures the dread and menace of facing the hulking death-row convict.
    • Kaolan Wongaswat - "Karma" by Amaterase for the Thai God War, an techno-rock track with slow vocals and chanting to herald his entrance.
    • Suekichi Kaneda - "Cyber Moon" by Rie A.K.A Suzaku is a techno track that captures the Weak, but Skilled fighter's determination.
    • Naoya Okubo - "The Fall" by ALICE IN HELL is a fast-paced electro-metal track with equally fast-paced vocals, contrasting the goofy Okubo and emphasizing the kind of fighter he is.
    • Agito Kanoh - "The Emperor feat. (Rap-Bit, Hama Kento)" by ZiNG is especially popular among the fandom. It’s generally agreed that, while it doesn't fit the character of the Fang himself, it does serve as an epic hype song for him and a symbol for his status as Emperor of the Kengan matches.
