- Alya forces Chloé to let Marinette go by simply filming her, and thus threatening to get Chloé in trouble.
- When Master Fu is about to be hit by a bus, Marinette doesn't hesitate to run forward and pull him out of the way. This brave and selfless act causes Tikki to immediately choose Marinette as her holder.
- During the battle with the Gargoyle, Marinette starts to adapt to her new powers and learns how to properly swing with her yo-yo, rather than just being dragged around by it. She uses this skill to save Cat Noir from being hit by a train.
- The Mime and Magician rob a bank, and are quickly surrounded by police. The Mime then throws the entire vault door at them. As they exit the bank, the Magician thanks them for being a fabulous audience before telekinetically lifting several police vehicles and throwing them to the other side of the city. The Mime then mimes throwing a grenade, which destroys the front on the bank as they escape.
- The climax of “Courage in Me” sees Marinette accept her duty as Ladybug and transform magnificently.
- As the Mime and Magician confront Ladybug and Cat Noir, the pair stands back-to-back as the Magician throws cards at them and the Mime fires a Finger Gun. Cat Noir tosses Ladybug in the air and she deflects all the cards with her yo-yo, as he performs a Bullet Catch on the invisible bullet. Even Cat Noir is surprised that he could do this.
- The Magician proves herself to be an extremely powerful opponent, as she not only brings several inanimate objects to life, but also creates a massive balloon monster strong enough to roll an entire Ferris wheel, and takes control of a rollercoaster with her telekinetic power.
- As the Magician flies the rollercoaster at the Balloon Monster's punch, Ladybug lands on top of it and uses her yo-yo to pull the rollercoaster away from danger and safely to the ground.
- As Cat Noir and the Mime are fighting on top of the runaway Ferris wheel, the Mime performs a Punch Catch and starts crushing Cat Noir's hand. But Cat Noir quickly kicks him and breaks free, as Ladybug swoops in and kicks the Mime at the same time Cat Noir punches him. This causes him to fly back and collide with the Magician midair, and both pierce the Balloon Monster's body, taking them out of the fight.
- As the Balloon Monster is stumbling back, Ladybug sees the Louvre Pyramid and gets an idea. She and Cat Noir redirect the Ferris wheel using nothing but their strength, and they cause it to push the Balloon Monster into the pyramid, and its tip causes the monster to pop. This also gently stops the Ferris wheel, saving the people inside. The Mime and Magician are deakumatized, and Ladybug purifies the akumas for the first time.
- The montage scene features Ladybug and Cat Noir taking down every supervillain Hawk Moth sends after them, some of which appear to be rather quick victories.
- When Chloé insults Marinette and says Adrien would never go to the ball with her, Marinette is having none of it.Marinette: Enough, Chloé. The adults are having a conversation. Why don't you go fix your hair? It looks like a rat's nest.
- While he is largely lashing out due to hurt, Adrien calls out his father for being a neglectful parent all these years.
- After Hawk Moth akumatizes himself, Ladybug protects multiple civilians despite his overwhelming power.
- While Cat Noir makes a bad decision by rushing in alone, he very impressively climbs up the entire Eiffel Tower, dodging multiple explosions that Hawk Moth creates to stop him. Cat Noir fails to use his Cataclysm on Hawk Moth, but it's still shown to be extremely powerful as it partially liquifies all the metal of the Eiffel Tower.
- Hawk Moth picks up Cat Noir, who had just been injured and nearly drowned, and starts to removed his Miraculous. But Cat Noir proves to be Defiant to the End, as he pulls his ring back and hits Hawk Moth with a Cataclym-infused scratch. This actually scars Gabriel's face.
- A detransformed Marinette shows that she is Brought Down to Badass, as she finds her courage and leaps to save Cat Noir from Hawk Moth’s killing blow. And in doing so, ends up fulfilling the earlier mantra of "Who saves a life saves the world".
- Thanks to The Power of Love and her own self-confidence, Ladybug unlocks her true Power of Creation, and creates a World-Healing Wave that puts the entire city back together. And unlike in the show, this does not appear to be an automatic thing. Ladybug has to consciously think and feel through repairing every building and street, but she still manages to do it.
- At the Masquerade Ball, Marinette shows up in a gorgeous dress that she designed herself. It catches the attention of several people there. At the beginning, Marinette thought about how she would share the beautiful designs she imagines if she was more confident. And now, she's accomplished that.
