* TheMasquerade: Seems to be in effect, considering the titular [[MagicalGirl magical girls]] are considered nothing but urban legends, albeit with their fanclub and people knowing they are officially real. The Eden Foundation, at the very least, seems to dismiss their existence.

* VictoryIsBoring: Stated to be Ai's main motivation for getting involved in things. Due to [[AdaptiveAbility her magic]], she's reached the point that she just doesn't care about trying anymore, since she's stated to over time adapt to and overcome any limitation or obstacle put in her way. It's also been stated that her ever getting hit with mind control would be a major problem, since she's never fought people with these abilities before and has thus not developed a resistance against them, and the main limiter on her strength is this same lack of effort.

* BadassLongcoat: Part of Hideyuki's normal combat equipment is a black duster with his symbol of office in gold on the back.

Rise of the Magic Girls is yet another Bay12 freeform roleplay, centring around the lives of six magical girls (and boys), and how they are affected when one day, they are all forced together to fight off a new alien army that will conquer the world if left unopposed. These magical girls (and boys) have many different skills and powers which they are now pushed to use on pain of the world's end, and they must now band together to protect the freedom of the world from invading alien army.

** The setting of the games is between the three cities of [[Series/KamenRiderBuild Touto, Seito and Hokuto]]. The game's theme song is even the same theme as ''Build''. As for the Mayor, he's named for Takeshi Hongo himself.[[/folder]]

* LighterAndSofter: The other reboot attempts all focused on DarkerAndEdgier tone which the GM seeks to go against.
