It is set 100 to 150 years after the [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTellius Tellius Timeline]] of the canon series and it follows the adventures of a band of warriors from very different backgrounds that joined together to repel a bandit attack that struck the little town they where staying in.

* ActionGirl: Selene, Andrea, and Lydia.

* BadassPreacher: Simon [[spoiler:[[AllThereInTheManual in the backstory]] and]] in his duel with Aerion.
* BaldOfAwesome: Again, Spartan. He's certainly a balding old man, and he's not evil.

* SuperMode: Felix treats his animal form as one.

* CombatPragmatist: Spartan seems to subscribe to the "all's fair in love and war" school of thought, since he just {{Groin Attack}}ed an enemy. Didn't work, but [[TryingToCatchMeFightingDirty that doesn't change how underhanded a tactic that was]].

* BadassGrandpa: Spartan is 63, and is NOT OlderThanTheyLook. He can massacre people less than half his age. Of course, he fits the "he's a grandpa BECAUSE he's badass" mold because he's explicitly been a soldier since he was 16.

* ObviouslyEvil: Mad Lord Aerion, SocialDarwinist AxCrazy BloodKnight with some manipulative abilities. He wears armor with SpikesOfVillainy, uses a sword as large as he is, has silver hair, a single black wing, and has been involved in making some hideously nasty ChildSoldiers. It is an odd case since he is not as evil as he looks, [[CompleteMonster he is far, far worse.]]

* BaseBreaker: Aerion and Ambientus while generally accepted now, raised a fair bit of controversy with their {{Magitek}} and rather... [[MoralEventHorizon explicit evil deeds]] in the generally more upbeat fantasy Fire Emblem verse that the RP is set in.

* HighOctaneNightmareFuel: Meet Lord Aerion, spiritual successor to Mad King Ashnard. This is a man fond of utterly obliterating his foes, has turned his Fief into a military dictatorship where your power and influence is bought by [[KlingonPromotion blood.]] He has bent the brains of children and turned them to his mad followers. Anyone that wanders in becomes a test subject for Aerion's "MadScientist friend".
** Speaking of which, Doctor Ambientus. He is Izuka, but much, much worse. We do not know what he is doing to Beorc and Laguz in his basement, but "whenever you pass by the floor above the dungeon, shrill screams can be heard." He has been using magic and metal to make a very disgusting instance of Magitek...by grafting it on to test subjects. Aerion likes to watch the grafting process.
** And recently, the sound of said monster's shrieks, and the fact that one of them simply pulled itself up Selene's lance to try to get at her.

* BaldOfAwesome: Again, Spartan. YourMileageMayVary on how awesome he is, but he's certainly a balding old man, and he's not evil.

* ThirtyGambitPileup: As of chapter 3, notable schemers included an Assassin's guild, their reluctant employee Selene, The King of Crimea, Daein lord Ceres, Liam: a completely separate assassin sent to target Brett (since bought out by Alain), and [[GuileHero Rein]]. Chapter four added Aerion, but maybe not for long.
** Add Kurt Rossiel to this list. His plotting has involved some key plot events, and he [[spoiler: is inferred to have planned things out, manipulating Ceres to make sure the party was in Daein just so he can be there and assess their strengths.]]

* AristocratsAreEvil: King Alain is heavily implied to have less than the altruistic motives he claims to have behind his actions. While the Empress has close ties to Blackfang adn the Dukes are divided and suffer from open in-fighting. The only actually noble noble is the King of Daein who's court is rife with corruption.

* TheChessmaster: All the Begnion nobles, perticularly Kurt.

* EvilerThanThou: Mad Lord Aerion is eviler than Ceres and Lord Brett, and his methods have led to alot of hate from both sides of the fourth wall. [[spoiler: According to his [[AllThereInTheManual signup sheet]], he's allied with King Alain, though there has been little evidence of this yet in the [=RP=].]]

* AristocratsAreEvil: Brett, a brutish knight and lord who hates Laguz for killing a lot of his friends.

* TheChessmaster: Doctor Ambientus, he looks like a SmugSnake, but he has planned out every direction the current trial might go, and if it goes sour, he even has a plan in place for that. Its like the man found reality's cheat codes...
** Speaking of, the Trial fell to pieces rather quickly, between holes in the testimony, clearly shifty actions and proceedings and general failings in the plan and the backup plan ended up being some weird teleportation spell and a frontal assault on the surprisingly well armed King.

* {{Darwinist}}: Mad Lord Aerion and, disturbingly enough, his ChildSoldiers and regulars mostly share in his beliefs. To quote: "If you are weak, you will be devoured by the strong." To this end, Aerion has made his "Boy's Brigade" kill as early as age 8. In a darker work where his methods are not as reviled from one side of the Fourth Wall, it could actually be HighOctaneNightmareFuel.

* MsFanservice: Meet Ceres' rather wholesome daughter, Lady Carmine. She has a lot of influence over her husband...gee, I wonder why.
