As a body, the Senate is concerned first and foremost with the dimensional imbalance between Earth and the Otherworld, and was instrumental in the development of an anti-youkai barrier system that relies on youkai energies to function. Their goal is to banish the Nana-Gou and the youkai from Earth, to keep Earth for humanity.
