* BeautyMark: She has a tiny mole near her left eye.

* UnfortunateNames: "Amentia" is Latin for "insanity". Some people have also connected her name to "dementia" or "demented".

* WomanScorned: Her descend into villainy is mostly spurred by Sky's breaking off their betrothal.

* JerkassHasAPoint: In season 1 she shows up during the Trix's army initial attack on Red Fountain to evacuate Sky, explaining that he has to reign and should let the peasants fight for him. Given he's the ''only'' heir to the throne of Heraklyon and the messy political situation on that world, she's right, she's just putting it in a ''very'' unsympathetic way.

* LadyOfWar: In her last appearance she mainly fights with a Naginata-esque, using graceful and speedy jumps to maneuver around enemies.

* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Hasn't been seen of mentioned since the end of season 2. It gets so bad that the Nick dub doesn't even include her in their recap special of season 2.

** Also in the comics, where in spite of her HeelFaceTurn she still enjoys needling Bloom's insecurities for fun.

* LickedByTheDog: In Season 8 Argo, an abused black unicorn who doesn't trust anyone, surprisingly takes a liking to Diaspro right away, which he shows by licking her face, much to her disgust.

** Despite some initial misgivings, she accepts Argo as a companion in season 8.

* CharacterRerailment: Season 8 brings her back to her original characterization as a SpoiledBrat who nevertheless isn't devoid of some decency, after several seasons of {{Flanderization}] into an outright villain.

* EasilyForgiven: In season 3 she brainwashes Sky with a love potion. She gets banished from Eraklyon for this. Come season 5 and she's back on Eraklyon working directly for Sky's father with no mention of her previous banishment. It's implied that Erendor favors her, but the fact that not even Bloom mentions this at all raises a few eyebrows.

* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: She was ''never'' a nice person, and even good might be stretching it, but at first she was merely a jerk in the wrong place and ended up victimized. Come season 3 and she brainwashes Sky into loving her, resulting in her banishment. She returns in season 5 apparently reformed, and while she tries to break up Bloom and Sky she does nothing evil and is ultimately looking out for Sky's safety. Then in season 6 she teams up with the Trix in an attempt to assassinate Bloom, putting her squarely on the evil side once again.

** In the comics, she grows nicer and more sociable toward Bloom in #29, afterwards only making one subtle petty remark toward her in her next appearance that she walked back quickly.
